14015 | what was your first comic do you ever remember reading. | It had to be some random issues of Batman back in the late 80's, but it was the Death of Superman that captured my imagination and got me hooked. | massreality | Nov 20, 2014
14014 | 1996 movies. | Yup.
| Mr Magic | Nov 20, 2014 | |

It is one of the few movies I actually remember watching in the theater. There are many I KNOW I saw in the theater as a kid, but few that I actually remember doing so.

| Vaporman87 | Nov 20, 2014 | |

14010 | My Interviews For Pop Geeks (Previously Bilateral Warp)... | You kind of look like Tom Hanks after 4 years on the island in Cast Away in that pic | vkimo | Nov 19, 2014
14009 | Another board game movie is coming. | Yes there is a monopoly movie in...well, I don't want to definitely say "in the works" but it's a thing that some people think should happen, apparently. Anybody got IMDb Pro? imdb

Well, it seems like the style of Battleship or Real Steel...
MTV news
Not that I saw either of those movies. But from what I understand, they don't actually look like the original games and their inspirations could just as easily be unacknowledged.
| shakin steak | Nov 19, 2014 | |
14008 | Another board game movie is coming. | What if there was a Hungry, Hungry Hippos movie? It could be like a scary movie.

The humans can replace those little white marbles. | Mr Magic | Nov 19, 2014
14007 | Virtual Console Thursdays | Before I layth onto this week's releases tomorrow, I also wanted to bring up this post by Sakurai on the Smash Bros Pic of the Day Miiverse page.

https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAADRUqGkwsIP4w

Sakurai's pic of the day reveals more details on the Masterpiece section in Super Smash Bros for Wii U. Mostly the same thing as in Brawl, but there's a lot more of them, and there's some you can unlock. Also, on a side note. Sonic the Hedgehog is STILL not on there. Why? Because Sega still refuses to release their Sega Genesis titles on the Wii U VC.

SAKURAI: "Some of the Masterpieces aren't unlocked at the beginning of the game. It's impressive that there are even games from the Game Boy. Some games have different starting points, while others come loaded with save data."

ME: In other words... they're timed demos. Basically an advertisement for the Virtual Console games on the eShop. Although, it is interesting that Game Boy titles are included.
| blueluigi | Nov 19, 2014 | |
