51241If There Was a Retro Hall of Fame...<p>I always enjoy Lithium and Janie's Got a Gun whenever they come on the radio. I used to have the Toxicity album, but I think I lost it.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I haven't talked enough about the retro ladies out there. I mentioned Barbie, but that's it.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Well, I'm gonna talk about one of the coolest ladies of the 80s:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Paula Abdul</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>When she was 18, Paula was a cheerleader for the L.A. Lakers, then went on to become a choreographer for the Laker Girls. She later on became discovered by The Jacksons. Afterwards, she became a choreographer during the height of the music video era and soon was signed to Virgin Records. Afterwards, her debut album Forever Your Girl debuted, which was one of the most successful albums in 1988.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for Paula Abdul!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="media"><div data-oembed-url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=El1kgCqD7Xk"><div><div style="left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%;"><iframe src="//if-cdn.com/clI7mUrZ" style="top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; border: 0;" allowfullscreen="" scrolling="no" allow="accelerometer *; clipboard-write *; encrypted-media *; gyroscope *; picture-in-picture *; web-share *;"></iframe></div></div></div></figure><figure class="media"><div data-oembed-url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xweiQukBM_k"><div><div style="left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%;"><iframe src="//if-cdn.com/2l1s0RkD" style="top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; border: 0;" allowfullscreen="" scrolling="no" allow="accelerometer *; clipboard-write *; encrypted-media *; gyroscope *; picture-in-picture *; web-share *;"></iframe></div></div></div></figure><p>&nbsp;</p>Mr MagicDec 18, 2025View
51240Dave Coulier has been diagnosed with cancer again <p>My prayers to Dave. His prognosis is good thanks to early detection and immediate treatment.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I want to share a very rare intro clip from a show I saw in 1966 about a family who settled in Wyoming territory in the 1870's. After the drowning deaths of both parents in the Snake river, the older son and daughter vow to raise their younger siblings.&nbsp;</p><figure class="media"><div data-oembed-url="https://youtu.be/QSUXUeRx8V8?si=yuZBYAk1v8mgJ88K"><div><div style="left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 75%;"><iframe src="//if-cdn.com/u11Q2ynf" style="top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; border: 0;" allowfullscreen="" scrolling="no" allow="accelerometer *; clipboard-write *; encrypted-media *; gyroscope *; picture-in-picture *; web-share *;"></iframe></div></div></div></figure>eddstarrDec 16, 2025View
51239If There Was a Retro Hall of Fame...<p>Mr. Magic, yeah it’s a shame what happened to baseball in Montreal. The Expos had a lot of good players over the course of their existence (including Vladimir Guerrero and Pedro Martinez who won his first Cy Young in Montreal in 1997).</p><p>This time I am going to nominate three more albums (one that’s an album that I like to listen to around Christmas Time for some reason because I’m always in an Early 90’s Grunge mood around Christmas Time). &nbsp; And it’s one of the three albums I listed as examples of albums I wished for Christmas on Vinyl.<br><br><strong>In Utero - Nirvana (1993):</strong></p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:440/440;" src="/images/uploads/user-19842/f394b097266d660aeee2.jpeg" width="440" height="440"></figure><p>Yes, I know it might be a little strange to nominate In Utero over Nevermind…but these days I vastly prefer In Utero over Nevermind due to me overplaying Nevermind’s songs as a teenager when I first got real into Nirvana…and just to the fact that I find In Utero to be a superior set of songs.</p><p><strong>Pump - Aerosmith (1989):</strong></p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:440/440;" src="/images/uploads/user-19842/6fe1b5c01ddfd8b3e7d8.jpeg" width="440" height="440"></figure><p><strong>And here is something completely different:</strong></p><p><strong>Toxicity - System Of A Down (2001):</strong></p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:440/440;" src="/images/uploads/user-19842/a337f318c629dd69dd75.jpeg" width="440" height="440"></figure><p><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>&nbsp;</p><figure class="image"><img></figure><figure class="image"><img></figure>BionicleFan1994Dec 16, 2025View
51238If There Was a Retro Hall of Fame...<p>I kind of miss the Expos. MLB just hasn't been the same without 'em.</p>Mr MagicDec 14, 2025View
51237If There Was a Retro Hall of Fame...<p><strong>This time…I’m nominating something sports and baseball related:</strong></p><p><strong>The Montreal Expos!!!:</strong></p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:260/260;" src="/images/uploads/user-19842/6f2b0f83bd83eebc88f9.png" width="260" height="260"></figure><p>Especially the 1994 Montreal Expos which are in my opinion the best Major League Baseball team to never win the World Series. And a big argument that the Expos have won it all had it not been for 1994 Strike that forever cursed the franchise as the Expos had the best record in baseball in 94 up until the Strike happened.</p><p><br>&nbsp;</p>BionicleFan1994Dec 13, 2025View

51235McDonald's<p>Grinch meals are available at Mickey D's. You can get a Big Mac meal or McNugget meal and you can have some special Grinch Salt that'll make your fries taste like green dill pickles. Usually at McDonald's you can get a Happy Meal prize or a collectors' glass, but this time, you get a pair of socks. Very nice, fun socks I might add. But the weird thing is, the cost of the Grinch Meal is crazy expensive! Our three meals cost like $15 each. Insane!&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Your reactions, please. And Merry Grinchmas!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="media"><div data-oembed-url="https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Food/mcdonalds-announces-new-grinch-themed-meal-twist-details/story?id=127717484"><div><div style="left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; padding-top: 120px;"><iframe src="//if-cdn.com/TlztZ4NU?app=1" style="top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; border: 0;" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div></div><script async="" src="//if-cdn.com/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script></div></figure><p>&nbsp;</p>Mr MagicDec 05, 2025View
