47875 | The Café |
Yeah, I share your disappointment RAR. Professional Wrestling used to be a national network of regional wrestling associations and independent wrestling promoters. These old school organizations identified and trained new talent, maintaining a constant flow of wrestlers eager to win match after match.

In my opinion, the battle between the WWF (WWE), and Ted Turner's WCW in the 1980's drained away all the talent, money and fandom from all the regional netwoks. Once you dismantle the new wrestler pipeline, your existing star wrestlers can't beat Father Time!

Of course there's way more to the decline of wrestling, it's a topic that gets a lot of buzz in the mixed martial arts, MMA, online community.
| eddstarr | Aug 01, 2021 | ![]() |
47874 | The Café |
Bray Wyatt was one of the few guys worth watching in today's WWE.
| Mr Magic | Aug 01, 2021 | ![]() |
47873 | The Café |
WWE released Bray Wyatt today. The man who literally could have been the next Undertaker. They are really entering a bad creativity dry spell that is starting to rival the era of the mid-90's.

They are pretty much now relying totally on a 54 year old Goldberg and a slightly less old Bobby Lashley to keep the fans engaged. Quite ironic since they are both men who WWE couldn't successfully build during their intial runs with the company and who found what made them beloved by fans in other promitions.

Everyone else has either been fired, jumped ship or is completely useless. Roman Reigns will forever be hated no matter what angle they push him at. It has been nice to see Edge return but he clearly isn't what he used to be. Cena and Orton are on the decline. They have completely bungled AJ Styles since his 2018 title run.

WWE is literally falling apart at the seems.
| Rick Ace Rhodes | Aug 01, 2021 | ![]() |

It became obvious that this song was very special to Phil Collins, in fact, all the members of Genesis understood that this was Phil's Song and added it to every concert tour, even if fans didn't get it.

Well guys, after all these years, here's the takeaway from Professor Phil:

People who risk everything to follw their passions and make their dreams a reality represent the Best of Humanity - even if they try . . . and fail. Better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all.

Personally, the 80's Music Tsunami was just getting started in 1982 - Thank You Phil and Genesis!

| eddstarr | Jul 31, 2021 | ![]() |
47868 | The Café |
yeah he's pretty much hit his lowest at this point, so much so that i really don't feel like following anymore of his activity, but props to the girl that talked to him over the phone without hesitation
| Benjanime | Jul 31, 2021 | ![]() |
47867 | The Café |
Twitter was having a field day learning the news about what he did. I saw the news break this morning and couldn't believe it. Who could have possibly foreseen that the longest running saga in internet history may now suddenly reach an abrupt end?

I know nothing is for certain yet, but all the information that we do have at the moment doesn't look good for him. He could be potentially looking at years behind bars.

Benjanime wrote :
i'll just leave this here.

-end quote

| Rick Ace Rhodes | Jul 31, 2021 | ![]() |
