29136Ecto-Cooler is back!I would say it's legit. With the movie getting close to release, these things will start to show up pretty regularly hereafter. The can looks lame. They should have stuck with Slimer on the box. This can design tells me all I need to know about the new movie... a lame reproduction of something that was far better off being left alone.
Vaporman87Feb 18, 2016View

I definitely recommend it.
-end quote
Ah yes. Dixie Stampede. I've been asked to be "in the show" at least twice there. Once we had to compete "riding horses"...and by horses they meant the broom handle kind, and with a partner. The next time was competing in the toilet lid toss. I lost.

vkimo wrote :
Is RetroJunk loading, but the forums and pretty much everything else inaccessible? -end quote
If it wasn't loading before, it seems to be now.
Vaporman87Feb 18, 2016View

29133Ecto-Cooler is back!So a sample can has showed up on eBay. Could be a hoax, but it looks pretty legit to me.

massrealityFeb 18, 2016View

29131If you had your own TV Channel, What would you show?I remember on RetroJunk waaay back when, someone posted a link to a live stream site that played classic kid network programming. The site was called "Poopd*ck" which was gross but meant to throw snoops. I watched it a bit but came to the conclusion that for the most part, classic programming from my past was much better in my memory, and not in the present.vkimoFeb 18, 2016View

29129If you had your own TV Channel, What would you show?
Linux_Sage wrote :
I suppose it would be a channel where TechTV left off before it started to diverge into mindless nonsense with what G4 became. It'd focus more on technology/science, tech trends, etc. Although I don't think a TV channel like that would be successful in this day and age with the internet and all. It would have to be done in a clever manner in order to make people watch. But yeah it's hard to find a good educational channel which isn't riddled with reality pawn shops or aliens. -end quote
That was actually my thoughts, except I was actually thinking more of a channel like how G4 was before the TechTV merger. I had a lot of memories with watching G4 back in those days... but like with the above example with TechTV, it most likely wouldn't work in this day and age on the internet. Especially now when there's all these gaming channels on Youtube dedicated to reviews, let's plays, news, etc. that are produced independently and even professional studios that have made their own gaming content as well. Plus, the fact that Gametrailers shut down recently further solidifies that a G4-like TV channel wouldn't work in this day and age.blueluigiFeb 18, 2016View
