They were Everywhere! The Merv Griffin Show, the Mike Douglas Show, the Tonight Show and I think they made an appearance on American Bandstand. Each week AT40 tracked songs as they climbed the charts but also followed songs as they slid off the charts. And "How Do You Do" took forever to fall far enough that Casey never had to mention the song again - I thought I detected relief in his voice!</div><div><br></div><div>I'll say this until my last day alive - 1970 to 1974 was the strangest period for popular music I have ever experienced. The music scene had no definitions, musical genres were meaningless. Mac and Katie were born in Trinidad and moved to the UK just as the British Music Tsunami was beginning to wash over the world.</div><div><br></div><div>If you've never heard this song before notice the distinct "West Indies" vibe in the sound of the chorus.
