As a kid, I remember finding the game annoying as hell... especially when it comes to the Yoshi's singing. Not only that, but it was way too easy. I still don't think very highly of the game now, but I would rather play it than the recent Yoshi's Island sequels that were made by Artoon/Arzest. Now those were awful.<br><br>With SNES games on the New 3DS Virtual Console, then the Virtual Console Threepeat club is no longer limited to just NES games. It is kind of a bummer that you can't play these SNES games for the original 3DS... but I do understand why. Nintendo recently stated that the hardware of the New 3DS is able to run SNES games better than it would on the original 3DS... and a lot of people did not believe Nintendo when they said it just because there existed homebrew SNES emulators that ran on the original 3DS. The thing is though... it's not that the original 3DS can't run SNES games... they just don't run them properly. If you run the SNES emulator on the original 3DS, there are certain issues like sound errors and graphical glitches. Granted, they're minor, and don't happen that much, but when it comes to releasing these games officially, Nintendo wants them to run exactly the same way they would on the SNES, so that's why the games are being released on the New 3DS.</div><div style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><br></div><div style="font-size: 13.3333px;">It's also nice hearing that games like Earthbound is being released on there. I thought about getting it for the Wii U, but held off on it. Especially since I still own the SNES cartridge.
