30789 | Do you "fit in"? | <span style="font-weight: normal;">Hey </span><span style="font-weight: bold;">SnS</span>, great to see you again!<div><br></div><div>Ya know, I've been thinking about all the people I used to know as a little kid. The online world came along just in time for me. You guys will never hear from the countless people who all had a hand in shaping that unique world I grew up in.</div><div><br></div><div>I can't begin to tell you guys all the stuff I saw, but <span style="font-weight: bold;">Jerry Beck</span> put together video clips from the old cartoon I saw as a 5 year old - </div><div>(Say It Outloud) "<span style="font-weight: bold;">Mr. E from Tau Ceti!</span>"</div><div><br></div> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rgJIKAsXcVA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe> | eddstarr | Apr 05, 2016
30788 | Last Movie You Watched | Back Roads (1981)<div><br></div><div>Found out about this while approving some videos for the site. Looked like one of those movies that came and went, totally forgotten. A fun romp that was nothing special but entertaining none the less. Sally Field was smoking when she was young, but she always seemed to have an overly motherly face to me. I love road trip type movies so this was worth a watch.</div><div><br></div><div>3/5</div> | vkimo | Apr 05, 2016
30787 | Last TV show you watched | Spent the night watching Star Trek Voyager, then watched the last three minutes of the NCAA Championship and now onto The Expanse. | massreality | Apr 05, 2016

It's like the entire decade was building up to the moment this song was first released. The 1985 studio session is the only version I've ever heard and it's the one that took over my imagination.</div><div style="font-style: normal;"><br></div><div><span style="font-style: normal;">The first time I heard "West End Girls" I was in my old Mercury Marquis on Military Highway south of Seattle. By mid song I had to pull over - It was Music Heaven! For the next few days I would glance around whenever the song hit the radio, I can still see the looks on other driver's faces - they felt the same way I did, </span><span style="font-style: italic;">the song is that good</span>.</div><div style="font-style: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;">There was something magic in the air at that time. Alongside the music was some of the best shows on television and at the movie theaters. The 1986/1987 Super Saturday cartoon lineup was one of the best of the 20th century, (until the rise of W-B in the 90's!).</div><div style="font-style: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;">Stuff I watched in '86 and '87 still stays with me. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Remember This?</span></div><div style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Note the reader card during countdown - 1986!</span></div><div style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-style: italic;"><br></span></div> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/DIIU2JvoMX4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe> | eddstarr | Apr 05, 2016
30784 | The Café | Ah, ok thanks for clearing that up. Hopefully it gets better. | vkimo | Apr 05, 2016
30783 | Last Movie You Watched | Napoleon Dynamite (2004)<div><br></div><div>I think this movie is hit or miss with people, either you love it or hate it. I love it, the movie came out when I was in highschool and even though it seems to be set in the mid 90s, I really connect with the goofy antics. That town looks like purgatory though. Fun movie, always quotable and I think one Hollywood will never redo.</div><div><br></div><div>4/5</div> | vkimo | Apr 05, 2016

30781 | Last TV show you watched | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the Nick series)<br><br>The episode "Trans-Dimensional Turtles" delivered as promised. It was a fun romp with the 80's turtles (and 80's Kraang) joining with their 3 dimensional counterparts to stop both Kraangs. I enjoyed it quite a bit.<br> | Vaporman87 | Apr 05, 2016
30780 | The Goldbergs | Ahhh. Another season ends. At least there will be a next season.<br> | Vaporman87 | Apr 05, 2016 |
