31641The Warner Sister as "That Girl"
Is it any wonder Animaniacs rules 90s animation?

Mr MagicMay 08, 2016View
31640Vacation Time!!!After some crappy weather the first couple days, we visited Busch Gardens today. It was great fun, as I hadn't been there in almost a decade. Both the new and the old coasters were great. It was awesome to get to ride them again.

Tomorrow, we're off to King's Dominion.
Vaporman87May 08, 2016View
31639The Warner Sister as "That Girl"Makes you wonder what show will do the same for 80's cultural gags. What cartoon show, that is.
Vaporman87May 08, 2016View
31638How was your day?
ThatDudeintheHoodie wrote :
Going to take my girlfriend's sister with me to see Captain America Civil War then to a comic shop for free comic book day. -end quote
So what were you're (spoiler free) thoughts on the movie? I'm really excited to see it.

thecrow174 wrote :
I got a new laptop the other day. I needed one too, 'cause the keyboard on the other one was much too small. -end quote
Nice. I can't stand uncomfortable keyboards.

ThatDudeintheHoodie wrote :
So I picked up this gem today

-end quote
I've had that gem in my collection for almost 3 decades. Some serious stuff being dealt with in that one.
Vaporman87May 08, 2016View
31637OldiesMusic could do what few other things could, and that's make people forget their prejudices. If the music was good, it conquered just about everything. I'm glad that Japanese pop culture became so influential here, and that we embraced it. It is just so fun!
Vaporman87May 08, 2016View
31636SitcomsI'd all but forgotten about Amen. Seems like there were a few shows that focused on a religious figure protagonist around that time. Ranging from comedy (Amen) to mystery/drama (Father Dowling Mysteries). You don't see that much any more.
Vaporman87May 08, 2016View
31635ZootopiaI liked almost all of the witty banter between Judy and Nick. It was really well written and acted.
Vaporman87May 08, 2016View
31634What song are you listening to?
eddstarr wrote :
Well here I am everybody, still stuck in the 80's.
But I think I know the way out . . . it's thisaway:
-end quote
Never heard that song Edd, but it has that 80's R&B flavor mixed with soft, elevator music (must be the horns). Interesting sound.
Vaporman87May 08, 2016View
31633Superhero Showdown is BackI've never heard of that site, but seeing it resurrected still makes me smile. I think we'll see more of this type of thing as the years go by. The internet (at least in it's current form) is over twenty years old now. Hard to believe that, but it's true. There is nostalgia to be found, even with regard to websites of the past. Nice find echidna.
Vaporman87May 08, 2016View
