31826CHiPsWelcome Back You Guys!

Thank you all for the awesome work of putting R-D back together. I'm no computer guru so my job was to get the hell outta the way.

MM (crow) - Bless you for posting the best disco intro to ever grace television. From Season 2 and beyond it wasn't Friday Night on NBC without the CHiPs theme music. Yeah - I was that guy upstairs that turned the volume waay up just to take it all in.

MM, you're too young to remember CHiPs. You must have caught the CHiPs Marathon on Showtime last year.

You ain't a foolin' me dude.
eddstarrDec 03, 2016View
31825Mario PartyMost of my memories of playing Mario Party is with Mario Party 4 for the Gamecube. Had so much fun with that game. I do wish Nintendo would make another Mario Party game that goes back to what made the first four games fun. I remember getting Mario Party 8, and I absolutely hated it. I thought the Mario Party franchise had already gone downhill during that game. It got even worse after ND Cube took over the series after Hudson Soft ceased to exist.
blueluigiDec 03, 2016View
31824Mario PartyI played all the games that were on the Gamecube and 8 that was on the Wii. Me and my friend certainly had some good times playing Mario Party, not without controversy though. A little over a year ago I tagged one of my childhood friends in the below photo on Facebook and we both had a laugh because it was so true.

Rick Ace RhodesDec 03, 2016View

31822CHiPsThe only things I remember about CHiPs was changing the station when it came on and Erik Estrada trying to sell me property on an artificial lake on Saturday morning infomercials.

vkimoDec 03, 2016View
31821Virtual Console ThursdaysI did try posting last week's Virtual Console releases throughout the week, but the threat wouldn't post probably due to image links I've been using. Now that we have the next Virtual Console update, then I will post both last week and this week's updates.

Anyway, I have held off a little bit throughout the week on posting last week's Virtual Console update due to the recent server crash that went on this site with Hostgator, and I was kind of waiting for the Liquidweb update to see if some of the lost files have been backed up. Right now, I think it's safe to say that this thread has lost 6 months of Virtual Console updates. Not a big deal though. You can always check the Nintendo eShop to see what is available. Nevertheless, the weekly updates continue. Here is what has been released both this week and the last.

Week of November 24, 2016:

Wii U Virtual Console:

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)
$9.99

New 3DS Virtual Console:

Breath of Fire II (SNES)
$7.99

Week of December 1, 2016:

Wii U Virtual Console:

Advance Wars: Dual Strike (DS)
$9.99

Last week also brought in the Nintendo eShop cyber deals. But since that is pretty much just about over, then I won't go over the discounts.

It might be a good thing that I waited until the week after to post this week's Virtual Console updates since this week's Nintendo eShop releases, in general, was a disappointment. Super Mario Maker for the 3DS was the only noteworthy thing, but even then, it's not something I'd really recommend as it doesn't have the online sharing features the Wii U version had, which was really what made Super Mario Maker in the first place. Sure, you can Streetpass levels, but I'm doubtful there's really going to be very many people who picked up the game knowing that it's a gimped version of the Wii U game.

Also, in my opinion, I find it a bit pointless to get Majora's Mask for the Wii U, mainly because the 3DS version is already out there. Still don't really like how Nintendo decides to pull more George Lucas shenanigans, especially since we've been seeing it more with the Zelda franchise. But it is out there. Though if there is one reason to get the Wii U version, it's if you already purchased Majora's Mask on the Wii Virtual Console, and being able to get the $2 upgrade.
blueluigiDec 02, 2016View

31819Last Movie You WatchedJurassic World is a pretty ho-hum movie with cardboard characters, The only names I remember are Owen and Claire, no idea about those two boys.

However, that ending tho, 20 minutes of awesome
echidna64Dec 02, 2016View

Over Thanksgiving my father told me what a pain in the ass it was trying to do his and my mothers new metal roof. The entire thing was held up for weeks because the contractor couldn't find good and sturdy snow guards for the roof. Then when he finally does, it's these funny looking snow guards in the shape of the Fleur-de-lis.Rick Ace RhodesDec 02, 2016View
