33013 | Smurfs: The Lost Village | Obviously, someone at Sony said "You know, fans of the cartoon deserve a more convincing movie adaption. Maybe not one done in pencil and paper, but something a little better than what the other movies were." | Mr Magic | Jan 13, 2017
33012 | The Nintendo Switch - Your thoughts? | I'll likely pick this up. I don't buy Nintendo systems thinking they are going to revolutionize the world with graphics or hardware. I've grown to expect a different type of experience with Nintendo's stuff, and I'm okay with it. When I want heavy duty horsepower, I'll go with my Xbox or PS4. I don't need a third beast.
| Vaporman87 | Jan 13, 2017 | |
33011 | Smurfs: The Lost Village | I suspect these will be more faithful to the cartoon series.
| Vaporman87 | Jan 13, 2017 | |
33010 | Ghostubusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II |
Benjanime wrote :

okay i'm just gonna admit it. i liked ghostbusters II more than the original.
-end quote
You're a brave soul.
| Vaporman87 | Jan 13, 2017 | |
33009 | The Nintendo Switch - Your thoughts? | Yeah, I'm very disappointed by the presentation. I really am. Nothing they really showed off has really made things exciting for the Switch. Just Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. That's it.

I hate to say it, but I think the Nintendo Switch is going to fail. None of the games shown have really gotten people excited, and the $300 is not the most enticing offer. Nintendo seems out of touch with what they're going, and if this console fails, Nintendo is pretty much done.

I might still preorder the console. Mainly because at least Zelda will help tide me though other releases. But I don't have a good feeling for the system. I really don't want the console to fail, but they did nothing to make a day 1 purchase enticing.
| blueluigi | Jan 13, 2017 | |
33008 | The Nintendo Switch - Your thoughts? |
vkimo wrote :
I'm so completely out of touch with Nintendo, I think Gamecube's problem competing with the Playstation and Xbox is what caused Nintendo to travel down another road entirely. They're almost stuck now, since it seems a lot of games from the traditional consoles are adult oriented that gamers would be suspicious of a true to form console and Nintendo itself would be awkward. I can't imagine nor do I think I would like to play Gears of War on a Nintendo.

On that note, I'd like to see the Gameboy come back with a built in stabilizing projector so you can play it on the wall and you can easily multiplay with buddies. No downloadable content, no pay services just good old fashioned cartridges.
-end quote
That would be great!

Or just make a full-on virtual reality console if they wanna go portable. Virtual Boy 2 coming soon haha
| echidna64 | Jan 13, 2017 | |

33006 | Smurfs: The Lost Village | Yeah, Papa Smurf is usually in a good mood. | Mr Magic | Jan 13, 2017
33005 | The Nintendo Switch - Your thoughts? | i agree about the motion controls, i think there are more consumers that just want the regular controllers than those that don't mind it. i guess if there's one other thing i could go on about is how the next mario game won't show up until late this year, when the last mario platformer was super mario 3d world, which came out three years ago. | Benjanime | Jan 13, 2017
33004 | The Nintendo Switch - Your thoughts? | I'm tired of Nintendo's gimmicks. I don't like these motion controls they've been doing, these controllers with screens on it, etc. they should've just stuck to simplicity. Just a regular console with regular controls and an awesome library of games. That's all they really needed. This extra stuff they've been trying to do is unnecessary and has completely turned me off to Nintendo.
| Linux_Sage | Jan 13, 2017 |
