48864Sidney Poitier, 1927 to 2022
"In The Heat of the Night", from 1967, is remarkable because Sidney acted with his eyes, using an economy of words. So much so that some of the best dialog is "silent", the audience reading the lines from Sidney's face!

eddstarrJan 17, 2022View
48863Silence of the Lawns
I like the idea of a lawn mower that sounds like a window fan during operation.

Electric power for lawn and garden equipment can transform weekends in my neighborhood. Electric edge trimmers and leaf blowers would be a welcomed change from all those loud, tiny gasoline powered motors.

eddstarrJan 17, 2022View

48861Jackass Forever
@onipar:

"Well, people do love to watch other people being stupid on YouTube, so I'd guess this movie would fare well. :-p"

This is true. YouTubers might eat it up.
Mr MagicJan 16, 2022View
48860Bob's Burgers movie
i guess for me it just had the same impact as rick and morty, was fun to watch for a few seasons but then just kinda wore thin after a while. not to say that it's bad, i guess it's just not something i see myself coming back to watch.
BenjanimeJan 15, 2022View
48859Winter 2021
Oof, I HATE ice storms. Our power will invariably go out. I think we're expecting some snow or ice on Monday, but I don't keep too close an eye on it. We had a couple small snows this year so far. One for Christmas Eve, which was awesome. Just a couple inches, but gave us a While Christmas! And then another couple inches a week or so ago. Not enough for my snow blower, so I had to do it with a shovel, but it was quick.
oniparJan 15, 2022View

48857Bob's Burgers movie
Oh damn, I'm I in the minority here? I love Bob's Burgers! I'm all in for a movie. I mean, I'm not like a superfan or anything, but I enjoy the show and love how they always have holiday episodes for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas every single year. I rewatch those for every holiday.
oniparJan 15, 2022View
48856Jackass Forever
Gotta admit, I was never a fan of this series. I saw a few moments of the TV show here and there back in the day, but that was about all I cared to watch. It's not that this stuff offends me or anything; I just didn't find it particularly entertaining. But as to the question, is it ready for a comeback? Well, people do love to watch other people being stupid on YouTube, so I'd guess this movie would fare well. :-p
oniparJan 15, 2022View
