49062The Café
speaking of the situation in russia, nintendo is delaying the release of the advance wars remake for the nintendo switch because of that too. oddly enough during 9/11 they also delayed the original GBA release.
BenjanimeMar 10, 2022View
49061I got me a pair of Tom and Jerry shoes!
Wow, it's a good thing I stumbled upon you. These shoes are great. I hear they're a limited edition, only 15,000 pairs worldwide. I've been looking at them for a long time, but I didn't dare buy them. I dreamed of a collaboration between Kanye West and Adidas. Yes, those are yeezys.
 Mar 09, 2022View

49058Order of Cosmic Champions and "The Novel"
Awesome! There's plenty more references in there. And a lot of adventure and fun too!

echidna64 wrote :
Just read the first four chapters! 49056The Café
i honestly never got the hype for his charlie and the chocolate factory movie, there's tons of people on twitter who apparently love the heck out of it, but i just don't see it. to me it was like the same experience i got out of watching teenage mutant ninja turtles III, it attepts to be good but just leaves me wondering how much better it could have been if it was executed properly. seemed to reel into the teen crowd more than anything though.
BenjanimeMar 07, 2022View
49055Green Acres - Episode One - 1965
The idea behind the show is so simple, Reverse Beverly Hillbillies.

When CBS approached Paul Henning and Jay Sommers for another TV series, reverse Beverly Hillbillies was a natural. The Clampetts in Beverly Hills was one of the most popular shows since 1962, but reversing the situation yeilded unexpected results.

Henning's other series,"The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Petticoat Junction", share common groundings with the town of Hooterville and it's residents, but "Green Acres" introduced the element of 'city slickers', trying to make a go of rural life, as the basis of comedy.

The result was "Green Acres" quickly went from funny to unreal by Season 2!

The characters, Lisa and Oliver made perfect targets for some of the funniest comedy arrows I've ever seen in a regularly scheduled television comedy. The first episode only hints at what the show would morph into by 1967. It ony got crazier with the characters from the other two shows making cameo appearances on Green Acres.

From episode to episode, you never knew when the cast from Petticoat Junction would take over Green Acres.
 eddstarrMar 07, 2022View
49054The Café
Giving Burton unlimited creative freedom is probably one of the worst things you can do for him. He definitely needs to be reeled in by outside parties on a lot of his ideas. Without it you get all his terrible remakes like Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland.

Benjanime wrote :
he didn't even plan on making a batman sequel, but he was given more creative freedom with it.

-end quote

Rick Ace RhodesMar 07, 2022View
