Disney's Pixar films are getting a little cookie cutter with their plots. The parent death angle never fails to hit you in the gut but this one was stale. Maybe it was the cartoonish dinosaurs. The boy seemed irrelevant. His lack of speech despite being a HUMAN was puzzling and the fact he acted completely like a dog the whole time just turned me off to the film. Great visuals though as always.</div><div><br></div><div>2.5/5</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Cocktails </b>(1988)</div><div><br></div><div>Never even knew about this movie till I found it as the background footage to Kokomo by the Beach Boys on Youtube. Fun 80s romp with Tom Cruise playing the only character he knew how, an arrogant cock sure wise guy. Features some of the most beautiful girls of the 80s (Elizabeth Shue/ Gina Gershon) and had some great bar scenes.
