36824High School ReunionsI already missed my 10 year reunion 5 years ago. My next one would be in 2022. Back in 2011 I kept fretting about it. Then I ran into my friend from high school (from the same graduating year) on the bus one day in 2011. He told me he was not going to the reunion either and that made me feel a lot better. I think it's a good thing I didn't go in 2012 I think I was not mentally able to handle a reunion. <br><br>This is why I like to keep a low profile on social media especially facebook. About 2 years ago I got an email from classmates.com from somebody I went to high school with. <br><br>I think by the 20 year mark the people start holding combined years reunions. Where I live they like to hold non-formal events like picnics and stuff. Sometimes I snoop on the alumni facebook reunion page. The page is for all years that have graduated from my high school. Back in 2009 somebody organized an elementary school reunion at the local hamburger place everybody at the elementary school and high school hung out at. I didn't go to that. They have really good pastrami sandwiches there. <br><br>My mom who graduated in the 1970s is elusive, but she told me she doesn't want to go to those things. My mom has a friend who they kept contacting looking for her. When he ran into my mom he told her that he wrote back to the organizers that he didn't know where my mom lived and to stop bothering him he was not interested in going to a reunion. <br>pikachuloverJul 31, 2017View
36823Unpopular opinionsMy kids are obsessed with various Youtube "celebrities", so much so, that's all they talk about and argue with each other about them. &nbsp;I get quite annoyed every time they take some "youtube challenge", and make a mess in the house. &nbsp;<div><br></div><div>I don't get the fascination of watching other people do normal, everyday stuff, and spouting their opinions like it's gospel. &nbsp;I may have to start making my own Youtube videos telling these folks off....or would that complete the circle and make the the type of person I despise?</div>mickyarberJul 31, 2017View
36822Last Movie You WatchedRed Water (2003)<div><br></div><div>This was a made for TV movie that I enjoyed watching as kid back when it aired on TBS. Watching it now as an adult, it seems kind of dumb in many aspects but I guess I'll give it some slack since I used to enjoy it as a kid.</div><div><br></div><div>3/5</div>Rick Ace RhodesJul 31, 2017View
36821Unpopular opinionsSpeaking of TDiTH and fuschnikt given that I know both of them are fans of this, I do not like Rick and Morty like everyone else does. At glance it just doesn't seem to be my type of show and I can respect that, but it can be annoying to see it dominate social media all the time. I wouldn't say it's on the scale of the Harry Potter fanatics, but it's definitely up their.Rick Ace RhodesJul 31, 2017View
36820High School ReunionsI'm still far off from a High School reunion given that I just graduated not that many years ago. Maybe when it comes time for the 20th I'll go, but 10th I don't know. Honestly, I've matured quite a bit from my high school years. I've learned to get over things and maybe reexamine how things were my fault at times. I can move on with my life and be a better person.Rick Ace RhodesJul 31, 2017View

36817High School Reunionsi'm kinda thankful that i graduated. my last high school wasn't a great experience either. way too many students doing some lowkey bullying and the dress code was crap. you could wear the loosest of pants and the staff wouldn't care.BenjanimeJul 30, 2017View
36816High School ReunionsI think the demise of Alumni Banquets and High School Reunions began long before Facebook came along. I attribute the apathy toward them as a sign that during our youth, we didn't share the same camaraderie that people in the decades prior did. <br><br>Something happened during the '70s and into the '80s that made us feel less like we were all in the same boat surviving the experience, and more like individuals making our own way. I'm not sure what spawned it, but I can see the difference when an Alumni Banquet comes to town. They make a lot of hay over it, but our graduating class never made much of it. I would think that this year being our 25th Anniversary that somebody would be out contacting people and making something happen, but nope. Nothing. It's a little disappointing in a way.<br>Vaporman87Jul 30, 2017View

It's pretty interesting, and while the official suicide explanation isn't implausible, the suspects are suspicious enough to make you really wonder.</span></font></div> </i><b>-end quote</b></blockquote>I think I saw an episode of some television show that went into his death and the circumstances surrounding it.
