A lot of people complained a great deal about Man of Steel, but I personally didn't see many issues with it. I do think the tone of both Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice was too dark and gloomy. People enjoy the Avengers movies and many other Marvel films because of the playful side that accompanies the action and seriousness. It looks like they are going for that kind of film with the Justice League movie.
