The trailer painted it as this epic, grandiose war flick. I was expecting a Saving Private Ryan level of adrenaline and suspense. This simply didn't deliver it. The scene on the long pier had a few great buildups of "Oh my god, what's about to happen" but then a plane flies by and drops like 3 bombs and that's it.</div><div><br></div><div>Beautifully shot, decent story but an overall underwhelming experience. If I want to learn about WW2 and gain a greater respect, I'll read about it.
