| 39976 | The Café | John K has had a history of unfinished projects and missing deadlines. This was one of the reasons why he got fired for Nickelodeon. Because he would always miss the deadline when animating each episode, which was why there was a delay of new Ren and Stimpy episodes throughout the year of 1992-1993, while all the other SNICK shows would finish up that season.<div><br></div><div>On another note, it seems that Nickelodeon is now trying to bury Ren and Stimpy after the sexual misconduct that went on with John K... despite the fact that he wasn't even working on the show during the last 3/4 of the show's run. All of the digital releases on Ren and Stimpy on iTunes and Amazon Video has been pulled. Also, Ren and Stimpy was included on NickSplat's lineup back in January, and was removed in March after the recent news of John K was released. I think it's safe to say that Ren and Stimpy may have joined the ranks of The Cosby Show (though, that started airing again recently), The Dukes of Hazzard, and Roseanne, of which they were banned from TV due to controversal reasons.</div> | blueluigi | Jun 14, 2018 | |
