40210CNN - The 2000sA good chunk of my childhood was mixed in the 90s and early 2000s. My teenage years were all in the 2000s with the tail end being in the 2010s. I argue that the early 2000s were an extension of the 90s ThatDudeintheHoodieJul 09, 2018View

40207CNN - The 2000s<div>Folks like Jkatz, Ben, and Blue have youthful memories invested in the decade that are special, so it will likely be appealing to the demographic it pertains to, just like the previous decades CNN did. <br></div><div><br></div><div>For me, the 2000s saw many major life changes... none of which will have anything to do with this series. But in its own way, the 2000s are special to me.<br></div>Vaporman87Jul 09, 2018View
40206CNN - The 2000sPlus, even myself, a lot of the time that I was in high school throughout the 2000s is something I look back on. In fact, my when the radio at my college would play the Pop2K radio station from SirusXM, there were actually some songs that makes me feel nostalgic just hearing it. Green Day being an example of one of them. Though, in a way it also makes me feel a little old as it makes me realize how much time has been flying by.<br><br>And of course, I had a lot of gaming memories during the 2000s. I look back at when I first got the Gamecube, and later the PS2. Played a lot of Animal Crossing during that period. And of course, the Wii, which I now look at as Nintendo's dark period. If there's anything in gaming I can sort of imagine being covered in the CNN documentary, it could be the Wii, if for it's motion control craze that kicked off during that time period.blueluigiJul 09, 2018View
40204CNN - The 2000si second jkatz's statement, the 2000s decade had its own fond memories to look back on. one prime example is the 2003 tmnt cartoon, it followed more closely on the comics and peter laird had some involvement with the show as well.BenjanimeJul 09, 2018View
40203CNN - The 2000sI can't seem to quote for some reason, so this is a response to Rick Ace Rhodes:<div><br></div><div>I spent a good deal of my childhood in the 2000s and I disagree. It may not have been as fun as the 80s and 90s, but there was a lot to like about the era: PS2, Gamecube. Green Day before they became annoyingly preachy about politics. TV shows like The Sopranos, Deadwood, and Rome which still today are considered to be some of the best.&nbsp;</div><div>The Internet was definitely a lot more fun in the 2000s too.</div><div>I'll post some more examples when I think of them.</div>jkatzJul 09, 2018View

40201CNN - The 2000sGood god no. Unlike the 70's, 80's and 90's there was nothing fun about the culture of the 2000's. In no way shape or form was it a fun decade (and I'm saying this as a kid who spent his growing up years in it).Rick Ace RhodesJul 09, 2018View
40200CNN - The 2000sI'll watch. There were still plenty of interesting things that happened during the first decade of the new millennium.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>Having watched the trailer though, I'm hopeful they don't include too much of Obama, since he was only a part of it for a year and a half.</div>Vaporman87Jul 09, 2018View
