3450ArticleVaporman87You said it OldSchool. The show never represented any negative views toward anyone. That's why I think it was absurd to be yanking it off of television when people were up in arms over the Confederate Flag. People need to get over themselves.Random Dukes of Hazzard MerchandiseMar 16, 2016View
3453ArticleVaporman87I definitely remember the Steamboat vs. Savage and Hogan vs. Warrior matches. Man, those were true classics. I don't think we'll ever see the enthusiasm for events like these classic matches in the future. People are more cynical, and less amused by "pretend" bloodsport. They want the real deal (MMA and such). Me, I prefer to know that nobody is actually TRYING to hurt each other, and the drama that comes with the show makes it more enjoyable. But I just think today's audience and the audience of the future won't be as engaged or entertained. My Favorite WrestleMania Matches of All TimeMar 16, 2016View
3452ArticleVaporman87You would think that with today's technology, one could not be fooled by a prank call (at least not by the number and ID you see). But you would be wrong. Technology has also provided NEW ways to fool people on the phone. Take, for example, PrankDial. At PrankDial, one can type in ANY phone number they choose to be the "calling from" number, select a pre-recorded prank message set, and then listen to the response after it is recorded and saved to the site. The pre-recorded message actually responds (or doesn't respond) based on replies from the person being called. So if no response if given, the message may say "Are you still there?" "Hellooo???" But if responses are given, then the message follows it's normal pattern, and it usually results in hilarious responses.Old School Phones: Mystery CallersMar 16, 2016View
3469ArticleVaporman87Ahh... pudding in a can and O'Boisies. I could go for either or both of those right about now. Great memory, Mickey. I have to agree... something about being packaged in a can added that extra something to the taste of the pudding. I feel the same way about soda (though I no longer drink soda). Between your Hardee's and McDonald's diet, it's a wonder you could even move. LOLFoods Long Gone: The SequelMar 22, 2016View
3470ArticleVaporman87It's hard to fathom that studios felt so compelled to tap into the MMPR craze that they would produce such crazy shows. It was almost as though they thought the sheer campiness was the biggest selling point, and so the cornier and crazier the better. "Not so" said the viewing public. 3471ArticleVaporman87Beautiful ladies, all of them. I agree here with Barbara Eden and Ginger. Those two also caught my young eyes. For me, I was a big fan of Olivia d'Abo, Bobbie Brown, Tawny Kitaen, Samantha Fox, Erin Gray, Tanya Roberts, Meredith Salenger, Mia Sara, Kathy Ireland, Rebecca Demornay, Helen Slater, Loni Anderson, Daryl Hannah, Stephanie Seymour, Elle Macpherson, Vanessa Williams, Kelly LeBrock, Christie Brinkley, Elisabeth Shue, Phoebe Cates, etc., etc. My Retro CrushesMar 22, 2016View
