VideoVaporman87I like Burgess Meredith's playful voice-over in this one. Aug 31, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87While I don't share your fondness for this movie, I do agree with some of your points. Jon Voight did an amazing job being a despicable person who ends up crushed in this movie, and you're SOOOO glad to see it happen by the end. And James Van Der Beek's career kind of went nowhere after this. I think, as you mention, his performance is so bad that it ended up becoming an internet meme. And that pretty much spells death if you're in the movies - see Shia Labeouf. Varsity Blues - The 90's Attempt at Friday Night LightsAug 31, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87I remember this, though not nearly as well as Domino's "Noid" campaign. Even so, it was very clever and a nice alternative to Domino's anti-pitchman.The Pizza Head ShowAug 31, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87Ha! I love the trailer for this one. It's so bad, it HAS to be good. It looks as though it was filmed in somebody's house with a home video camera. LOVE that about it. What really made me laugh though, was the scene with the feet walking down a flight of stairs. That EXACT SAME scene was filmed for one of our home movies back in the day. Same angle and everything. That's hilarious.Heavy Metal-Sploitation Part 2Aug 31, 2015View
VideoVaporman87I love that a movie called Slaughterhouse Rock proudly proclaims it contains music by Devo. LOL. Shouldn't the title then be Slaughterhouse Techno/New Wave?Slaughterhouse Rock (1988) TrailerSep 02, 2015View
VideoVaporman87LOL. Gotta love the tagline, "The good guys always win... even in the 80's."MegaForce (1982) TrailerSep 02, 2015View
VideoVaporman87Hilarious that the narrator continually calls Sonic The Hedgehog, "Super Sonic The Hedgehog".Part of 1992 Montgomery Ward in-store LaserdiscSep 02, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87It's true that you never know what the future might hold for some "washed up" celebs. But then there are those that you just know are pretty well done. I think Scotty here fits in there. Probably the most fame he could gain nowadays would be on some show like Celebrity Apprentice or Dancing With The Stars, and that's fleeting. Great start to the series Rick. Keep 'em coming!Washed Up Celebrities: Scott SchwartzSep 04, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87Those Fun Fruits truly were as good as it gets as far as taste, and the commercials were all very memorable and catchy. But man, those Garfield shapes... how did they do that? You don't see anything like that anymore on store shelves... not in a fruit chew form anyway. As far as Gushers, I did like them a lot, but like you I kind of preferred my chews without the slimy goo in the middle. I liked the texture and taste of the "Fruit Roll Up" style Fun Fruits.Fruit SnacksSep 04, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87Wow. You certainly have an affinity for Alice Cooper. LOL. I never listened to Heavy Metal growing up. Some of my friends did, and many at school proclaimed their love for it via t-shirts and other memorablia... or just dressing like they were one themselves. But I did come to appreciate Alice after I saw his cameo in Wayne's World. Only after that did I start doing a little research on the man, and giving some consideration to his music. I still wouldn't call myself a fan, but I do like the song he provided for Friday The 13th, Man Behind The Mask. I liked watching the music video as well.A True Horror Icon To Me...Sep 04, 2015View
