Most of my friends didn't have the same console as me. My best friend Phil did, and I would trade with him from time to time. I have no idea who these characters are (though I've become familiar with some because my daughter is somewhat interested in Pokemon). I'm lost in all the talk of moves and evolutions. And yet, your enthusiasm for the property makes me wish I knew everything you know about. I can only imagine the fun and excitement of experiencing the camaraderie of the Pokemon fan community, especially in the early days. But yes, owning Graphic Novels is definitely the way to go if you're just catching up on some of the better storylines. And here I thought it was just me! Speaking of Godzilla, that is my "obscure collector's obsession". I have everything from Trendmasters to Bandai figures stuffed in various closet spaces. | 2539 | Article | Vaporman87 | No doubt, that was a tearjerker for me growing up. I loved the movie so much, but it was hard to get through the whole thing sometimes knowing what was to come. When I first saw the film, the tension that was building when Atreyu tries to pass by the Oracle Statues really had me biting my nails. I'll never forget that feeling. As an adult, you expect things to turn out okay for the protagonist because if it doesn't, the moviegoers will be very upset. But as a kid, you figure his chances are about as good as your own, and that doesn't inspire confidence. LOL Like you said though, the ending makes it all worth it.
