2125ArticleVaporman87Yeah, Danny was not a humorous character. More of a straight, squeaky clean type who helped keep the others grounded.  Mar 20, 2015View
2123ArticleVaporman87Wow. This is a heaping helping of Twilight Zone awesomeness. I never really had the chance to watch but just a few of the episodes of the old show, but what I did see always creeped me out. I think the fact that the show was in black and white added to that creepiness. I always feared that, as I watched an episode unfold, I would be tricked into thinking the ending was going to be a happy one. Then have that notion flipped on it's head when a final twist arrived. The show would do that from time to time, like someone handing you a piece of candy and then pulling it away and laughing maniacally. LOLForgotten Twilight Zone EpisodesMar 20, 2015View
2132ArticleVaporman87Any time you wanted a game, you should have told him it was "multi-genre" and had a racing portion somewhere in there. My Favorite PC Games of the 90'sMar 22, 2015View
2133ArticleVaporman87That's a lot of great tunes with eyes. I would say this is a pretty great list that I don't think I would change. Also, I ALMOST got every one of the eye pictures right. I missed but one!Top 80s Songs with EYE in the Title (+Bonus 80s Eye Quiz)Mar 22, 2015View
2134ArticleVaporman87I wish I could say that I shared in these experiences of shock in old games. I found out about Samus before I had even played one level in the game itself, thanks for my friend who had owned the game long before me. Aerith's death was something that magazines and my brother were making a big deal of, but I was not an RPG nerd, so I did not know or care about that. The fatalities of MK didn't shock me, as I had performed several in the arcades prior to getting the games on home consoles. I would say that, if I could pick one thing from an old game that shocked me, it would be hearing the sound of a voice coming from a game for the first time ever. B-17 bomber for the Intellivision was the first game to hold that honor for me. The first time I heard those words uttered from that cartridge made my eyes open wide. 2139ArticleVaporman87I very much enjoyed this peek into your Spring Break adventures. These are the types of Spring Breaks I would enjoy most as well. Just leisurely doing things that "spring" to mind, not really going out of your way to plan exotic, complicated trips in the hustle and bustle of the usual places people go. Not having to swim through a sea of humanity to get to and fro. Just... taking it all in through peaceful drives, time with friends in familiar places, and all that. Just perfect stuff. 2145ArticleVaporman87Yes! This... a thousand times this. I love these kinds of stories, especially since it includes two subjects that really stir a lot of memories for me... roller skating and crushes. This story reminds me so much of another favorite article of mine, this one from echidna called <a href="http://www.retro-daze.org/site/article/id/224">"Best Day Ever"</a>. I love this line: "One day, some Satanist decided that our comfort as skating losers could no longer be tolerated." I'm going to be thinking about that all day.
