2895ArticleExhumeOurIdolsWhen I was younger, my mom used to take me there to Blockbuster when the store was still open and it was a much more fun experience just getting to see those movies. Sadly online took over, but thankfully, there is still a video store I recently went to that had tons of movies, especially on VHS. Just have to keep digging for the gold. 2896ArticleExhumeOurIdolsI loved everything in this article except the jeans, and good thing that Nickelodeon is having yet another 90s block soon, so safe to say that there are some good in the new millennium, even if it's a revival, but yeah, SNICK will always be in my heart :)Things I Loved About the 90sOct 14, 2015View
2979ArticleGoonieGirlThanks Vaporman87. Not too bad for a first artical attempt. It's been a long time since I've done anything creative. You are correct in thinking "Janie" (name changed to protect the innocent [me]) was a questionable friend... Thankfully we grew apart over our middle school years- she got in a LOT of trouble in high school (as you can imagine, starting a life of crime at age 10 gave her a lot of time to hone her skills) Hoju! You just HAD to "out" me as your wife on my very first article! Now everyone will think you said nice things just so you didn't have to sleep on the couch! In any case, praise appreciated ;) DirtyD79, Yeah, lots cold Halloweens. I also remember throwing the left over Easter Egg dye out into the snow most years... 2980ArticleGoonieGirlI don't know what you do for a living... but if it's not writing young adult fiction, you should consider a career change. This is the best fiction I've read in awhile. Nice work. Fright Night - A Retro NarrativeOct 19, 2015View
3042ArticleGoonieGirlI remember pouring over the doll houses and spending hours picking out mini furniture and accessories... Oh, unrequited childhood dreams! Not to make you too jealous, but I totally had that sweet rock tumbler. Unfortunately it turned out to be LOUD (tumbling rocks is loud. Imagine that.) so whenever I turned it on, no matter where in the house I "hid" it, someone always found it and turned it off. I'd have been better off with a nice quiet doll house. The OTHER Good Thing About OctoberOct 29, 2015View
3043ArticleGoonieGirlAs a childhood chicken, Beetlejuice was a little on the scary side for me. I do remember watching a few of the cartoon episodes, though. They were more funny than scary (which I appreciated) and the animation was fun. P.S. I have to say, your podcast is pretty hilarious. I highly recommend it :)Beetlejuice BonanzaOct 29, 2015View
3012ArticleIlectraThe pop that looked like a toe, though I think was a thumb was a childhood staple for me that id completely forgotten about. Thanks for the memory boost. as a kid it never bothered me how much that thing looked like a toe.4 Rare Retro CandiesOct 23, 2015View
