1122 | Article | vkimo | Nice article man! I'm currently in a waiting room and this article was a godsend haha. Love how this article had a moral to the story. Do you still have that Genesis? | Jun 04, 2014
1123 | Article | Fulton4V | That is good you finally got your Sega. Thats a fun story, thanks for sharing it. I think the Genesis had been out for a while by then wasnt it? | The Best Day Ever | Jun 05, 2014
1127 | Article | echidna64 | Yeah I still have it! I brought it to college with me and even picked up a few new games like Joe and Mac Caveman Ninja. | The Best Day Ever | Jun 10, 2014
1196 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Very sweet story and vivid descriptions of your moments of childhood disappointment and elation. I wasn't the most competitive kid and didn't make much money in our school's Jog-A-Thon, but if a toy had been on the line I would have summoned "my speed of the puma". | The Best Day Ever | Sep 03, 2014
1299 | Article | comic_book_fan | i here you i didn't get my sega until like 1998. | The Best Day Ever | Sep 22, 2014
1119 | Article | pikachulover | When was little and watched the cartoon I thought the Misfits dressed better than the Holograms. I like the song "Welcome to the Jungle" not to be confused with the Guns N' Roses song. I think I knew the difference between the cartoon Misfits and the other band. But it could be confusing. Unless people knew me well they didn't really know I liked punk and ska music. I was very bookish looking. | The Misfits: Top Five Songs | Jun 04, 2014
1120 | Article | Vaporman87 | Lots of great music in the series, but these are some standout songs. I recall watching an interview with the lady who did Jem's singing voice, and how much fun she had doing the over the top music. | The Misfits: Top Five Songs | Jun 04, 2014

1109 | Article | Vaporman87 | Wow. This is the first I've heard of "K-dramas". That's a very unique thing to enjoy. The only Korean film I know of is Yonggary (which is, of course, a giant monster movie). I'm curious to know what movies you may have watched in the theater that summer. Any that you recall? When you mentioned "Gangsta's Paradise", all I could think of was Weird Al's "Amish Paradise". LOL Thanks for this pikachulover! | The Summer of 1995 | Jun 02, 2014
1112 | Article | pikachulover | K-Dramas are popular in LA. There is a sizable Korean population here. There are about 3 broadcast channels in the area that show them. I also watch J-dramas from Japan. I think the Power Rangers Movie was the only movie I saw in theaters that summer. I didn't go to the movies much. I like Gangsta's and Amish Paradise. | The Summer of 1995 | Jun 02, 2014 |
