1445 | Article | Vaporman87 | A lot of these stops would be my stops as well. Lots of familiarity in these places to frequent. Unfortunately, these places were typically at least 25 minutes away, so I would settle for the local mom and pop stops for some of them... which is great in and of itself, as you know. | Oct 17, 2014
885 | Article | pikachulover | A lot of places have phased out children's meal toys due to the obesity epidemic. McDonald's did give out books back in the 90s I remember getting some Berenstain Bears books there. I think Taco Bell gave out some other books. I think Little Critter books. | Literary Classics at Taco Bell | Dec 06, 2013
4745 | Article | Dalek227 | A lot of people I know say that for them seeing that commercial for the first go round of the year signals "Ahh, Christmas is coming". I think I saw it the very last few days in November this year. | Hershey's Kisses Christmas Bells Commercial | Dec 20, 2018
3510 | Article | Vaporman87 | A lot of my exposure to Star Wars in my early days came in the form of merchandise. I don't remember ever watching the movies until around high school, by which time the films themselves would have been over and done with for about four or five years. It was in high school that my Star Wars nerd friend forced me to watch all the films on VHS tape... many times over. From there, I felt more of a connection to the story and the characters. I still wasn't a big Star Wars nerd, but I cared enough about it to collect a few movie related things here and there. Probably my favorite Star Wars merchandise was the Super Nintendo game series. Those games really did a good job of capturing what made the movies great. | Star Wars: The Past Awakens | Apr 11, 2016
2985 | Article | NLogan | A little weirded out hearing the Koolander's voice. Not exactly what I pictured my favorite black suited wall crawler's voice to be. Now we have seen the videos and pictures, now we have the adult voice. Next we will have your soul (read of course in an Andre the Giant as Fezzik as the Dread Pirate Robert's voice).
| Back To The Future Memories | Oct 21, 2015 | |

1253 | Article | Hoju Koolander | A haunted Circus would actually be pretty frightening and I think I could get some mileage out of a corn maze (more of a novelty to us "city Folk" I guess). I grew up in Southern California but never made it out to Knott's Scary Farm on Halloween. I hear it was pretty awesome getting chased by all the creepers. | Houses of Haunt | Sep 16, 2014
4926 | Article | Vaporman87 | A Harry and The Hendersons toy? What the heck? Talk about something totally out of left field. I had no clue there was ever ANY merchandise from that film aside from maybe a poster. Wow. | Action Figure Reclamation Project Phase 5 | May 16, 2019
3402 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | A guide to the controversy of Jose Canseco: 1) He was the founding father of the steroid era. 2) He then ratted everyone out about the steroid era to get back at baseball for blackballing him. 3) He has a bad habit of doing really stupid things, and is generally considered a complete psychopath. | The Non-Sports Fan's Guide to Iconic Athletes of the 90's | Feb 28, 2016 |
