4500 | Article | Lazlo | Great account of a wonderful family trip. I have tons of great Disney memories at Walt Disney World, and also of family road trips when I was growing up. One thing though: The Nickelodeon Studios that you have pictured was actually at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. It is now the site of the Blue Man Group theater. | Jul 29, 2018

3087 | Article | NLogan | Goonies II The Fratellis' Last Stand totally happened. Came out in 1987. They even had a video game for it. Yeah right, just like the time you ate your weight in Godfather's Pizza, or the time Michael Jackson came to your house to use the bathroom? Well maybe it never happened, but it should'a. The plot of the game was for Mikey to save the rest of the Goonies and a mermaid that were captured by the Fratellis. <img style="width: 407px; height: 253px;" src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/th7MNmWrkH0/maxresdefault.jpg"> | Top 5 80's Movie Sequels | Nov 05, 2015

5581 | Article | onipar | Good stuff! Haha, and great picture. :-p I actually *only* got to go to the mall around Christmas (until we moved from Brooklyn in 1993). Around the holidays my dad would drive us out to the Rockaway Mall, and yeah, all of my memories of the mall at that time were Christmas-related. Malls and Christmas went hand-in-hand until my teens. | My introduction to holidays at the mall | Jan 15, 2022
1415 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Good stuff, Mike. It's crazy that the syndicated cartoons in the morning and afternoons co-existed for so long with the Saturday Morning cartoon block, but I suppose this was inevitable. That said, you hit on some of my favorites: Beetlejuice, Camp Candy and those Sunkist commercials are instant nostalgia for me. As for some of the others, I have a Hammerman VHS tape packed away somewhere (yes, it's terrible) and I bought the complete series of Hey Vern, It's Ernest for $5 at Wal-Mart a while back, I like to put it on while I'm cleaning the house on Saturday mornings. | R.I.P.
