3550ArticleDirtyD79When I was a little kid I used to walk past this one church on my way home from school. The thing that scared was there was this giant art deco style copper Jesus on the side of the building. The Jesus statue or whatever was copper at one time but had turned green due to years of oxidation. Because of it's weird shape and green coloring people in the neighborhood would call it "The Grasshopper." I was always afraid it would fall off the wall and crush me on the sidewalk below. While I eventually got over my fear, the only things I've ever really been to that church for are either weddings or funeral services. Mostly because we don't live in that neighborhood anymore. I know most people would think it's weird how anybody could be scared of Jesus but most people don't have the extremely overactive imagination I had as a kid and still do to this day. Dec 11, 2016View
4049ArticleDirtyD79When I was a teenager I remember me and my brother got kicked out of a toys r us for riding bikes around the store and playing football in one of the aisles. Needless to say we got kicked out. Ironically several years later my brother would end up working at the toys r us we got kicked out of. As for KB what I liked about them was they were a decent place to get models and stuff like paint and glue for them. Toys R Us was decent too but they were kind of out of the way compared to the KB I normally went to. Toy Store DreamsAug 18, 2017View
1835ArticlepikachuloverWhen I was between about the ages 4-6 I really liked the show Today's Special. My mom gave me this old grey carnival prize mouse. I named Muffy. I took her everywhere with me. The head got all floppy from carrying her around in a headlock. When I was about 6 and a half she fell in my wading pool, and could not be salvaged. I think my pikachu eventually became the replacement Muffy. When I was telling my little cousin how long I had the pikachu I realized I had owned it for half my life. I got it right before my sophomore year of high school. Somebody gave that same cousin a Chucky doll from the Child's Play movies and she would play with it like a baby doll. 4732ArticleDalek227When I was really young I loved Disney's Halloween Treat. They used to show The Worst Witch, The Halloween That Almost Wasn't, The Witch's Castle, Mr Boogedy, Bride of Boogedy, etc. It's been what feels like a thousand years since any of those have been shown though. I sometimes watch The Worst Witch on youtube.Kid Channel Halloween TreatsDec 19, 2018View

2895ArticleExhumeOurIdolsWhen I was younger, my mom used to take me there to Blockbuster when the store was still open and it was a much more fun experience just getting to see those movies. Sadly online took over, but thankfully, there is still a video store I recently went to that had tons of movies, especially on VHS. Just have to keep digging for the gold. 3569ArticleNLoganWhen I won a X-Box 360 and gave it to my boys I opened it and created profiles and downloaded games like the week before so that it was ready to roll Christmas morning. That F-14 looks sweet. I had WWII fighter that was gas powered but flew in a circle on a hand held line. I never did get a Genesis but I loved me some Altered Beast in the arcade and secretly wanted one but the Nintendo dominated in my house.A Very Sega ChristmasDec 12, 2016View
