4535 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Very cool stuff. I remember seeing a comic book ad for the Sonic Hot Rings sweepstakes and definitely had those SMB3 Happy Meal Toys. I really enjoyed the Nintendo Power Pack sticker/game trading cards, as well as the Super Mario Bros and Zelda fruit snacks. | Sep 04, 2018
1664 | Article | Vaporman87 | Very cool to learn of some of these films/shows. I agree with the choice of the Rankin-Bass "Twas the Night Before Christmas" special. That one I have fond memories of watching as a kid. The little mouse that rats out Santa as a myth always got on my nerves. I always wished one of the humans would catch him in a trap. LOL I'm interested in watching The Snowman. It sounds just splendid, so I'll check out the link you provided for that one. I'm also going to check out the Raggedy Ann and Andy special. I'm thinking I MAY have seen that one before, but it's been so long ago that I remember little to nothing about it. Some specials that I think deserve more attention: Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas The Christmas Toy The Life And Adventures of Santa Claus | What To Watch on Christmas | Dec 16, 2014
1195 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Very cool topic. I totally remember one of my girl-friends (friend who was a girl) having a few of the aerobics themed C.U.T.I.E.S. figures. I never knew about the other varieties, but I got a good laugh out of the name "Leah Tard", totally not P.C. nowadays! | Revisiting C.U.T.I.E. | Sep 03, 2014

1007 | Article | MissM | Very cool. I never really saw these, but I do remember owning a great deal of books and magazines about animals. That Deep Sea Dive episode would have been my favorite too. I've always liked that kind of stuff. | Long Lost 90s: Really Wild Animals | Feb 18, 2014

572 | Article | Vaporman87 | Very fun read MatuX. Gremlins was a favorite of mine for a long time. I too am surprised by the amount of violence in it. Many films of the 80s had a great deal more violence and language while still managing a PG rating. I'm thankful for the PG - 13 rating we gave these days. | Movie Mogwai: Tiny Creature Features Movies Part 1 | Apr 13, 2013
2275 | Article | Mr Magic | Very good choices. When I was watching wrestling as a kid, I used to think of Hulk Hogan as a superhero. Taking on and conquering every villain that came his way. | My Top 5 Fave Wrestlers of the 90's | May 21, 2015
3205 | Article | mickyarber | Very good read. I always like it to hear stories of when kids realize who the real "Santa" is, and especially stories where you can feel the heartfelt gratitude coming through for him just like in this story. Good job. | Operation Santa | Dec 13, 2015 |
