3307ArticleRick Ace RhodesThanks for the comments guys. This was a hard one to write, I actually got a little emotional when I was creating that sheet of paper photo. I'm glad to hear your own stories about bullying and overcoming it.Being BulliedFeb 02, 2016View

2351ArticleoniparThanks for the comments! Yeah, the video store was right across the street from my apartment, and they had arcades AND a Slush Puppy machine, so it was one of our go-to hangouts. The best thing about being young: everything was an adventure. And yeah, it was a truly messed up movie to watch at that young age. Retro-graphic Evidence: Horror in the 80sJul 05, 2015View
858ArticleMissMThanks for the comments! I am glad this was a fun read for you all. Fulton, you are so right. Everything requires special bricks now for sets. It is so frustrating at times to finish a set if the pieces are missing. It's always that random piece too! vkimo, I am so glad you mentioned the Paradisa set! I loved that series so much. I wish I could transport myself to those sets all the time. lol And Vaporman, Lego has been evolving their minifigures for quite some time. The pirate really showed off just how creative that could be. I forgot to mention that the pirate minifigures were the first to really sport different facial expressions through the use of beards and facial hair. It is all so interesting and fun. 4664ArticleBenjanimethanks for the feedback, guys! :) it's great to see how different in perspective others have in thought about the decade even if it may not be as memorable as past ones. i probably should've also made mention of the 2007 ghostbusters video game, which is a great loveletter to GB fans. The 2000s decade wasn't that badNov 07, 2018View
1258ArticlefuschniktThanks for the feedback, guys. This was my first upload. In hindsight, I should have maybe staged some photos for illustration purposes. May have also made the story more visually inviting. When I wrote it, I could picture everything happening as it did, I guess I wasn't sure how to present it as an illustrated article knowing I couldn't transcribe the visual memories in my nostalgia lobe. -DGThe Cereal IncidentSep 16, 2014View
