5140 | Article | Vaporman87 | The Game Gear was actually THE choice of my brother and I. The Gameboy and later the Gameboy Advance just didn't resonate with us. But the Game Gear... that was awesome. They made long trips sooooo much easier. | Remembering The Sega Game Gear | Mar 09, 2020
3604 | Article | Hoju Koolander | The G.I. Joe/Dukes of Hazard crossover was an awesome image. That would have made a great episode of the cartoon. I love the wrestling recasting as well. Who was your Ric Flair? Construx were one of my favorite ways to build playsets for my action figures as well. | The Mega Haul of Christmas 1986 | Dec 19, 2016

1388 | Article | NLogan | The football jock might have been a brainless monster but Frankenstein's monster wasn't, at least not in the book. He taught himself how to speak and read in German and French, and can speak English. | Flannel Cornucopia | Oct 07, 2014
313 | Article | Benjanime | the first time i moved away from virginia was around 1998 when i was living in a mobile home park. my family and i went back a few years later to visit my grandma who had asked to purchase our trailer and i felt thirteen again. walking on that astroturf carpet, traversing the old bedrooms and just being at the mobile home park itself game me that retro feeling. not a lot was changed in the area besides the woods area that got closed off | Retro Rooms | Feb 13, 2013
4829 | Article | Benjanime | the first one on the list isn't just the most identifiable but i felt it was the most overused too. i had cousins that played that song, two friends who sang it constantly while it was still popular and it was at the point where i felt like i'd scream if i heard anymore of it lol. | ThatDudeintheHoodie's Favorite 90s Love Songs | Feb 01, 2019
4117 | Article | blueluigi | The first I heard about it was during a car ride on my way to school. A friend of my sister's was telling us about these planes that hit the World Trade Center. After hearing that, this was talked about in class. Many people were shaken up during that event. I also remember coming home from school and seeing most TV programming being preempted for 9/11 coverage. I recall one of the only other networks that aired regular programming was USA Network with the Street Fighter movie. Still, this is a day that is very depressing looking back at it. It's a reminder that this world is not what we want it to be. That there's so much evil in mankind, regardless of who it is that started these attacks. It also doesn't help that our country went to war with a completely irrelevant country, with lots of innocent people killed because of that too. Thanks to George W. Bush for making other countries hate us (and our current president, Donald Trump for that matter). | Where Were You That September Day? | Sep 12, 2017
5568 | Article | Julie | The first Christmas decoration in a mall I remember seeing was when I was eight: after the classroom, I went to the mall everyday alone (it was a time when human trafficking didn't exist). So I could marvel everyday at those wonderful decorations, and going to all the toy stores to look at every toy I dreamed to have. I did that for the whole year; it was unforgettably magical to me. You look so cutie on the photo, my sweetheart @Benjanime!❤❤ Happy Holidays! | My introduction to holidays at the mall | Dec 10, 2021
3256 | Article | Vaporman87 | The first album I ever purchased was Information Society's self titled release. That was in cassette format though. I am not sure what my first CD purchase was. | My first CD's | Jan 09, 2016 |
