2233 | Article | massreality | I had all of those Nerf balls. I'll never forget my disappointment in the Siren one. It whistled alright, just not like it did in the commercial. I have a developing interest in the old heroes like The Shadow, Green Hornet, Lone Ranger, and Zorro. A few months ago, I sat down and watched The Shadow and was impressed. I don't think it's held up well, but I think if I had seen in 1994 when I was eleven, I would have loved it. I've been reading The Shadow comics that Dynamite created a couple of years ago. Garth Ennis (Preacher/Punisher) was writing them, and they were actually pretty good. I loved the covers Alex Ross did for them. He made The Shadow pretty friggin amazing. It's just a shame its a character that is unloved and forgotten. I'd love to see Hollywood reboot it. | Kenner Action Toy Guide '94 | Apr 29, 2015
2239 | Article | massreality | @Hojo: Didn't I read that Raimi only made Darkman because he couldn't get the rights to The Shadow back in the 90's? | Kenner Action Toy Guide '94 | May 01, 2015
2256 | Article | massreality | I love the list. Man, does it bring back some memories. I don't know if if I could design a better top five, but I do have some alternate players I was a fan of. That list would include: Nick Anderson, Larry Johnson, Jerry Stackhouse, Tim Hardaway, Dennis Scott, and Glen Rice. I miss the NBA in the 90's so bad. Its probably one of the things I wish I could revive. I had so many great memories back then. I feel like all that died when Jordan retired (for the second time). | My Top 5 Fave NBA Players of the 90's | May 12, 2015
2268 | Article | massreality | I agree with everything but Excitebike. I do think people remember the game being better than it was, but the game was still fun. | NES: The 5 Worst Games | May 12, 2015
2269 | Article | massreality | @Vaporman87 It was those three years of living in Orlando. I moved there the year Shaq was drafted. It was a great time to be around the Magic. | My Top 5 Fave NBA Players of the 90's | May 12, 2015
2287 | Article | massreality | Great list. I've always been a huge DDP fan, but I loved Sting in WCW as well. | My Top 5 Fave Wrestlers of the 90's | May 26, 2015
2357 | Article | massreality | Man, I hated that six-eight week turn around for stuff you ordered back then. | Retro-graphic Evidence: Xardion Lives! | Jul 07, 2015
2386 | Article | massreality | I totally forgot about Hit Stix! My brother owned the Hit Stix, and they were pretty awesome. They even inspired him to get into real drumming a few years later. | Yesterdays: Things I DIDN'T Have As A Kid | Jul 13, 2015
2469 | Article | massreality | The Karate Kid and JCVD inspired me at a very young age to take up martial arts. I started in Tae Kwon Do and really loved it. My mom decided to start taking alongside me since she had to sit through the classes anyway. It sort of became an obsession for her, and we started going every single night until I finally just refused to go anymore. She ended up getting a job with the school and fifteen years later, she opened up her own school that she still operates to this day. As an adult, I took Krav Maga for a couple years, but after a few injuries I decided it truly wasn't worth it. It's a lot cheaper and easier to go take a conceal carry class and buy a cheap handgun. :) | The Karate Class Kid | Aug 06, 2015 |
