4608 | Article | NLogan | Wow I never even saw half of those back in the day. For sure I saw the Batman stuff with the light up belt, etc. The Wolverine stuff (the claws really put me off) never got it, and the Magneto stuff. That Spider-Man one is the coolest along with the Batman mask. | Oct 07, 2018
4611 | Article | jkatz | They didn't make one of those Batman dressup kits for Batman Forever, did they? Were there little kids running around in nipple armor in the 90s? (I mean outside of Gary Glitter's house). That Captain America mask is more proof that some designs just don't work in real life. Those wings look ridiculous! | 90s Toy Dress-Up Kits | Oct 08, 2018
4576 | Article | Vaporman87 | My clear favorite was the Skeletor kit. I loved wearing that skull mask, and the swords were really good representations of the figure sized ones. The super short Havoc Staff was dorky though. | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Sep 29, 2018
4578 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @Vaporman87 Thanks for clarifying the correct name of the Havoc Staff and it's awesome that you actually had the glow-in-the-dark helmet. So cool. | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Sep 29, 2018
4580 | Article | jkatz | I think my favorite part of this article is the picture of the kid on the back of the A-Team box. | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Oct 01, 2018
4584 | Article | NLogan | My brother and I each had a HE-MAN Weapons set. We taped our swords together as they would come apart at the first parry. Mine was the all silver sword his was the all yellow sword. The wrist gauntlets were worn way up on our forearms even in the smallest setting. Here is a picture of our valiant heroes going up against the dastardly Skeletor henchman called Bearman or Bearor who is Grizzlor's little brother. He wasn't big enough yet for the Horde. He has a garden trowel of terror as a weapon and a haversack filled with evil magic. Not sure where my brother's sword is as it is not visible in the picture. <img src="/images/postImages/1538491378Dressupweapons.bmp" width="394" height="293"> | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Oct 02, 2018
4585 | Article | NLogan | We never got the Skeletor set because the sword was reverse moulded and looked like a cookie cutter to me. Later on my friend got a light up yellow power sword set that came with a blue shield. | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Oct 02, 2018
4586 | Article | NLogan | If I remember right the belts continually fell off during dynamic moves such as walking, jumping, standing, or sitting, hence the reason why that villain has stolen mine and is wearing it. We made our own helmets by the way. | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Oct 02, 2018
4605 | Article | Superman | I don't remember owning any dress-up kits, but I probably would have loved that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Battle Fun Set. | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Oct 06, 2018
4623 | Article | fuschnikt | I had a Lion-O dress up kit. It came with the weirdest mask with hair molded into the plastic. I dug it. | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Oct 11, 2018 |
