3525ArticleVaporman87Battle Beasts! Believe or not I was loyal to Wood. Sorry man. You can make stuff out of wood. Fire... water... not so much. I didn't have too many of the figures. Just a few. The comic would have been an instant turn off for me, with no color. I had to have color in my comics or I simply wasn't interested. That's why I missed out on the Turtles in the comics, and some other cult favorites. Ah well.  Apr 27, 2016View

3471ArticleVaporman87Beautiful ladies, all of them. I agree here with Barbara Eden and Ginger. Those two also caught my young eyes. For me, I was a big fan of Olivia d'Abo, Bobbie Brown, Tawny Kitaen, Samantha Fox, Erin Gray, Tanya Roberts, Meredith Salenger, Mia Sara, Kathy Ireland, Rebecca Demornay, Helen Slater, Loni Anderson, Daryl Hannah, Stephanie Seymour, Elle Macpherson, Vanessa Williams, Kelly LeBrock, Christie Brinkley, Elisabeth Shue, Phoebe Cates, etc., etc. My Retro CrushesMar 22, 2016View
1371ArticleVaporman87Beautiful read. I really feel the spirit of Halloween now! As for poor Steve, I can relate. I recall that, one year, I (by myself) decorated the pathway from our driveway to our door and prepared to scare trick-or-treaters (as opposed to actually trick-or-treating myself), only to find that barely anyone wanted to make the long walk up our driveway to our house. I feel Steve's pain. Living here in Rutland, we are WELL aware of when trick-or-treating starts and stops, because the fire department's siren sounds to begin and end the event. There is no mistaking when you're DONE, and the residents get to chow down on their own remaining sweets. I have to say, I love the layout of this piece. Just love it. It sucks that search engines won't find it because it's an image (well, unless they're LOOKING for an image of course) but it's like finding treasure... those who do find it will be very happy they did. Thanks a bunch for a great read vkimo. You never disappoint.Flannel CornucopiaOct 04, 2014View
2492ArticleVaporman87Beautifully written story, onipar (though one would expect it to be so; you being an author). The plight of a childhood spent someplace like Brooklyn is about as unfamiliar to me as such a thing could be. But the fear of a local bully is pretty universal, so I can relate to this story. I love these lines - "...lifting him off the ground and encasing him in clam-stank..." "...he was probably just late for a midday stabbing at the park..." Thanks for sharing!A Flurry of Hadoukens and ShoryukensAug 10, 2015View
