3149 | Article | Vaporman87 | Almost all of these ladies have aged gracefully and are still beautiful, with a few exceptions. Sarah Michelle Gellar looks like an anorexic. She's always been a bit skinny, but now it just makes her look like skin and bones. Gross. Pamela Anderson has had too much work done since her days on Baywatch. Now she looks like somebody who was in an accident and had plastic surgery to fix the damage. And then, Janet Jackson. She's pretty much gone the way of her brother. Yeesh. Nice list Mickey. | Dec 07, 2015
3150 | Article | Vaporman87 | You've got everything from horribly gaudy (Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story) to simple but special (Charlie Brown Christmas). A very nice selection here Hoju. My favorite is, of course, Charlie Brown's. Nowadays you can even purchase an actual reproduction of his tree for displaying in your home, complete with one single ornament. LOL. | 5 Most Iconic Movie Christmas Trees | Dec 07, 2015
3158 | Article | Vaporman87 | Another good one, Nlogan. Forgot about The Corey delivering in a costume. LOL | 5 Most Iconic Movie Christmas Trees | Dec 08, 2015
3154 | Article | Vaporman87 | Motorized jeeps, Super NES, Playstation... oh my! These are all really great choices. My own personal favorites through the years included the original NES, as well as an ATV... both in the same year. That was probably one of the greatest ever Christmases as far as gifts were concerned. I also really loved the year my step-brother (from one of my mom's marriages) and I received ninja outfits (not the cheap costume kind, but the kind you could order though Martial Arts magazines). | Retro Christmas Presents | Dec 07, 2015
3162 | Article | Vaporman87 | That was awesome. Great story, MarshMellow. Welcome to RD, by the way. This was a joy to read. Really well written and fun the whole way through. I can't imagine what that final "boom" must have been like. I think I would have stuck to eating Special Dark bars with my Squiggle Wiggle tattooed hands while playing the Nintendo from a previous year after that. | Expl-ho-ho-ho-sion | Dec 10, 2015
3161 | Article | Vaporman87 | Yes! What a great memory to have. Such a great story. Isn't it amazing how something so trivial can mean the difference between happiness and sorrow? What was it that made your mother so "anti-gaming"? Was she devoutly religious, or just wary of "newfangled" things? Did you end up getting that Atari 2600? If so, how did that go over in the weeks and months following? Why do Greeks think they're all that? LOL (Not a real question) Thanks for sharing this Kid C. It was stellar. | Perfect Game | Dec 10, 2015
3174 | Article | Vaporman87 | Well, I've seen one of these movies. Guess which? LOL. Even so, thank you for sharing this fun list. | Top 5 Favorite Christmas Horror Movies | Dec 11, 2015
3175 | Article | Vaporman87 | This reminds me of a bad experience in our fourth grade gift exchange. I received a heavily used Star Wars figure wrapped in newspaper and sealed in a cardboard box ( no wrapping paper ). It came from one of the less fortunate students in the class. But me being a spoiled little 10 year old, I took it upon myself to cry about it. Looking back on it now, I cringe and hate myself for my reaction. I guess I had witnessed my friends and others getting these nice new gifts, and felt cheated. | A Mature Gift Exchange | Dec 11, 2015
3176 | Article | Vaporman87 | @NLogan: She would have 6,000 heart attacks at once, I'm guessing. @Kid C: Very nice work on the title card. Very nice. | Perfect Game | Dec 11, 2015
3177 | Article | Vaporman87 | Our get-togethers at our my Grandma's house were kind of like what you describe here. I didn't really know my cousins well (nor did I care much for them). So I just wanted to get the good stuff and get home. I would typically play with my haul until Christmas morning, after which those toys became all but forgotten for several weeks, if not forever. | What a Stuffy Party! | Dec 11, 2015 |
