2977	Article	DirtyD79	Batman was one of my favorite movies I saw as a kid. I think we watched it a couple of times at the drive-in that summer. I remember hearing in the months leading up to it people would actually go to theaters and buy tickets just to watch the previews for the Batman movie then walk out when the preview was over. I still have the VHS copy although my VCR kinda died a few years ago so I bought the four pack of Batman movie DVDs from Wal-mart a year ago.	Batman '89 Remembered	Oct 19, 2015
3123	Article	DirtyD79	I too had to learn cursive back in third grade. Ironically I was much better at writing in cursive than I was at printing. I'm not trying to brag. Believe me, my printing was atrocious as a kid and it's only slightly better all these years later. Nowadays the only time I really need to write in cursive is if I'm signing some forms or something. 3124	Article	DirtyD79	This one Burger King I used to work at back in 2003 still has the Burger King Kids Club stuff up over in their Play Land or whatever you want to call it. Personally I miss the old McDonald's playland. When I was a kid this one we used to always go to had those booths that looked like a train. It was even more cool because the restaurant was across the street from some train tracks so you could watch trains go by while you ate. They also had those Fry Kid bouncy things, the slide with that pirate dude on top, and that Officer Big Mac climbing thing. The mouth formed bars like a little jail cell and you could jump out of this one gap. I remember as a kid thinking it was like a zillion miles high and then being surprised how small it was when I was a teenager. I also remember people used to write graffiti inside there. The typical stuff like "For a good time call blah blah blah." or anarchy symbols. I gotta agree McDonald's and most fast food places these days just look lame. Boring box shaped buildings with decor straight out of a hospital waiting room. Just no imagination.	What I Miss From Childhood	Nov 18, 2015
3125	Article	DirtyD79	I broke my collarbone too when I was about 6. Me and some kid were wrestling in the playground and I hit it on a tree stump. I had to wear this one brace that looked like a really thick padded pair of suspenders and I hated it. That probably explains why I've always hated wearing suspenders. To me the worst part of having a broken collarbone was trying to get up whenever I was laying down or leaning back in a chair. 3126	Article	DirtyD79	I had quite a few trips to the principal's office as a kid too. Mostly it was for fighting but sometimes also for when teachers got tired of my class clown routine. I also heard stories about kids getting spanked but never knew anyone it happened to nor did I ever see the paddle or whatever they'd use anytime I was in the office. Surprisingly though you did have to put coins in that one for it to dispense candy but it didn't matter what size they were. 3289	Article	DirtyD79	Me and my bro had bunkbeds too. Our mom got them because they reminded her of the Berenstein Bears or something like that. We also had a folding ladder which we just about never used. One of the things I'd do with the bunk bed is pretend I'm working on a car that's up on the lift at a shop. I probably drove my parents nuts by tapping on it with a little wooden hammer. When me and my bro outgrew them we ended up giving them to a couple of our younger cousins.	Bunk Beds	Jan 22, 2016
