1674ArticleVaporman87That's awesome Barry. There are so many specials that have come and gone and have been all but forgotten. I tried coming up with a few of them as part of the clips shown in the RetroDaze Halloween Special. I'll have to dig up some more for next year. If you can, maybe PM me some names of some specials or Halloween episodes of shows that would be good to use. Dec 17, 2014View

1697ArticleVaporman87Most generally my stocking was full of things that were not good for my health. There wasn't much in the way of toys in my stockings. Now that I'm a father/husband, my wife knows that no matter what she puts in there, there is one thing that is an absolute must every year... the Storybook candy box. Whether it be LifeSavers, Starburst, or some other brand, a Storybook box BETTER be in there, or watch out.Stocking StuffersDec 19, 2014View
1698ArticleVaporman87Good heavens man! I'm afraid I'll have to hold off a true comment until tomorrow when I actually have time to read this beast! :) Looking forward to it though. Until then...NLogan's Retro ChristmasDec 19, 2014View
1701ArticleVaporman87Well, now that I have some time to make a proper comment... This was a great look into your Christmases past. It was as much a look at you and your brother growing up through Christmas as can be achieved through writing and images. I can look at these images, and read about the circumstances surrounding them, and almost sense what you were feeling. Especially with your parents divorcing... I can relate to that very well. Thanks for sharing this awesome piece of NLogan history with us. It means a lot, this time of year especially. NLogan's Retro ChristmasDec 19, 2014View
1706ArticleVaporman87You said it. Those items are more than the plastic and paint they are constructed of. They jump start feelings and memories that are easy to forget in our adulthood. That's why they are precious... what they represent, not what they are.NLogan's Retro ChristmasDec 19, 2014View
1716ArticleVaporman87While you were just beginning to enjoy life with your NES out of diapers, I was graduating high school. Man I'm old. LOLvkimo's Christmas SpecialDec 20, 2014View
1717ArticleVaporman87I was never one of those kids that were frightened of Santa... or the Easter Bunny, or any other Holiday legend for that matter. Well, excepting any Halloween related legends that is. The nice thing this year about visiting Santa, was that all three of my kids were happy to do so. That is a first. Usually, at least one of them was either not excited to, or just plain frightened to sit on his lap for pictures. My oldest son actually had difficulty holding back a big smile his year. That was awesome to witness. I love the stories and pictures you have added in this. Hilarious! The Santa DiariesDec 20, 2014View
1718ArticleVaporman87Oh yeah, I forgot to make a comment on that baker's chocolate reference! I thought I was the only one who made that mistake!!! Ha! For months I avoided touching the stuff at the warning of my mom. But finally, one day, temptation got the best of me. Never again. My thoughts at the time were, "How can something so nasty legally be labeled as chocolate?" It seemed like the crime of the century to me. The Santa DiariesDec 20, 2014View
