4653ArticleVaporman87I love the really elaborate floats, especially if they are themed around a classic live action or animated show. I recall a Masters of the Universe float (from '85 I think) that blew me away: <img src="/images/postImages/1541094354Masters Float 3.jpg" width="424" height="322"><br> <img src="/images/postImages/1541094376Masters Float 1.jpg" width="423" height="318"><br> <img src="/images/postImages/1541094406Masters Float 2.jpg" width="423" height="317"><br> <img src="/images/postImages/1541094433Masters Float 4.jpg" width="423" height="317"><br> <img src="/images/postImages/1541094459Masters Float 5.jpg" width="423" height="318"><br> <img src="/images/postImages/1541094483Masters Float 6.jpg" width="422" height="315"> Nov 01, 2018View

4677ArticleSupermanNice article. I enjoyed reading about your favorite floats, ThatDudeintheHoodie.TDitH's Favorite Macy's Thanksgiving Parade FloatsNov 16, 2018View
4679ArticleOldSchool80sThe balloons are still my favorite probably because they bring back the memories from my childhood. They don't seem to show the balloons as long in favor of some of the musical performances and marching bands. I don't care for the awkward lip-synching all that much. Except that one time (not too long ago) when Rick Astley rick-rolled a performance interrupting with Never Gonna Give You Up live. The Spider-Man balloon is definitely one of my favorites as well. Garfield stands out as well. That He-Man float is awesome!TDitH's Favorite Macy's Thanksgiving Parade FloatsNov 16, 2018View
4536ArticleNLoganMystery solved!Interview with 90s Trading Card Designer Robert ConwaySep 04, 2018View
4538ArticleVaporman87Robert was clearly heavily involved in some of our favorite trading card lines in the '90s. I had collected a complete set of Marvel Universe cards over the course of a year or two. Now I've heard some backstory from a person directly responsible for the designs of them. What an amazing set of circumstances that led to this interview. Nice job Hoju.Interview with 90s Trading Card Designer Robert ConwaySep 04, 2018View
4548ArticlejkatzI enjoyed reading this. Very cool how the tech boom of the 90s coincided with the last stages of trading card craze. Interview with 90s Trading Card Designer Robert ConwaySep 07, 2018View
4537ArticleNLoganI'll never forget being up way too late on a sleepover or early depending on your view, when anything and everything was funny even if it wasn't. Movies, pizza, and video games somehow led to jokes and out of nowhere someone said, "Sh-t Ubu sh-t, good G-d!" Pardon my French, the dog was named after a character in a French play and is catching frisbees in Paris. Anyways we laughed for like a half hour straight before my dad's disembodied shouted voice told us to get to bed. Lights went out, laugher and guffaw died, low snickers finally subsided, and my dad's angry physical manifestation never matterialized.10 Pop Culture Dogs of the 80sSep 04, 2018View
4539ArticleVaporman87I always wondered what the deal was with Ubu. Yes, it stuck in my head just as much as the intro songs for Family Ties and Night Court. Spuds is clearly the "top dog" of the '80s. He was everywhere for a short period of time, and left a lasting impression. I too owned a Pound Puppy, and was pleased with it for a time. But he could never eclipse Meowwy Wowwy. 10 Pop Culture Dogs of the 80sSep 05, 2018View
