4456ArticleVaporman87It's crazy to think it, but sometimes the most memorable things about trips and vacations are the little things. Looks like that is the case here. Most people who might ask you about a trip to the beach would expect a lot of stuff involving THE BEACH. But not so here. Great story Wes! Jun 18, 2018View

4472ArticleHoju KoolanderA well told tale of terror and TV. I too always looked forward to discovering new kids shows while on family vacations. For example, I watched the premiere of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on a motel TV in Hershey, PA before taking a tour of the Hershey's chocolate factory in the 90s. 4457ArticleVaporman87LOL! I was totally thrown off by the title of this article, but it seems appropriate considering the destination and the hilarious statement from the kids. Nice to read about a trip you had that was more enjoyable and meaningful to you.Manatee GenitaliaJun 18, 2018View
4464ArticleSupermanI've never been to SeaWorld, but I did once see a dolphin show at the zoo. It was fun. Some of the things you describe, like the audience getting splashed, happened to me there.Manatee GenitaliaJun 18, 2018View
4468Articlepikachulover@Vapor I was having a hard time thinking of a title for this and I didn't want a generic title like "Sea World Trip" or something like that. @Superman Those shows are fun too bad people don't really like them anymore. Manatee GenitaliaJun 19, 2018View
4471ArticleHoju KoolanderHaving just returned from my kid's first trip to SeaWorld this was very relatable. I totally remember those Pirate handlers for the costumed characters back in the day from when we went to SeaWorld as 6th grade field trip in the early 90s. This time around we got a picture with "Shamu", though there was no official Shamu merchandise anywhere except for an ice cream bar, which I quickly purchased. Did not come across any Manatees though.Manatee GenitaliaJun 19, 2018View
4479Articlepikachulover@Hoju I think the manatees were a new addition in the late 90s. That was the point of the Jack Hanna show to tell you the manatees were at SeaWorld San Diego. Manatee GenitaliaJun 19, 2018View
4486ArticlejkatzThat's awesome packaging for the GI Joe/Transformers tapes. Definitely would be cool if they re-released these somehow...maybe in a special commerative vhs edition, even. Live Action Winnie the Pooh looks creepy. Love the retro TV, too!Kids VHS Tapes of the 80s and 90sJun 29, 2018View
4490ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 Wow, now that I think about it, I can totally see the Teddy Ruxpin resemblance, especially the eyes on those costume. @jkatz At least a hardbound book that collects the artwork, because that stuff is beautiful.Kids VHS Tapes of the 80s and 90sJul 03, 2018View
