3108ArticlepikachuloverFrom grades 3rd-5th we had to use cursive and I sucked at it in all those grades. By 6th grade the teachers stopped caring and just wanted legible work. I also have an illegible signature. I don't do that cute girly writing. Strangely enough the mention of not teaching cursive in schools came up during a John Cena interview I saw 9 years ago when he was promoting his movie The Marine. And for the record he knows how to write in cursive.  Nov 17, 2015View

4137ArticleHoju KoolanderFOX Kids was definitely the king of kids programming. Anything they put on at least got my viewership for 3 episodes. I watched ABC's lineup briefly with Cro and Land of the Lost as you mentioned, but also The Addams Family and Cowboys of Moo Mesa. SNICK was also special and I was really into Roundhouse at the time (what was I thinking?)Five Childhood Programming Line Ups I LovedSep 20, 2017View

965ArticleVaporman87Forts, tunnels, "trampolines"... all great couch cushion creations. Occasionally they became "buildings" for my sister and I to destroy Godzilla style (complete with a rolled up blanket tucked into the back of my pants as a "tail"). They also make great "chairs" to hit opponents with when you're "wrestling". lolRemembering Rainy DaysJan 30, 2014View

765VideoblueluigiFor those who don't know, Michael Larson memorized these set patterns on the show by recording episodes off TV and playing them back again. He used them to his advantage and that's how he won that much. It's evident once you pay attention to his reactions. Sometimes, he would celebrate early before he even knew what it is he won. Although, his skill did eventually wear out at the end, and there were a few squares he landed on where he almost lost it all. Especially the last one where he lands on that trip to the Bahamas.Press Your Luck - Michael Larson part 2Aug 21, 2013View
