2628ArticleHoju Koolander@massreality I think "Fruit Snakes" was a missed opportunity for Betty Crocker ;) Sep 09, 2015View
2671ArticleHoju Koolander@comic_book_fan Shady action figure business deals and trades deserve their own thread in the forums, I think. Glad to know your buddy "fessed-up" and that you returned the stolen Joes. Sounds like you were a trustworthy duo. @massreality So basically you were a member of the A-Team? Wrongly accused of a crime you did not commit. As a former fat kid I feel that girl's pain, but she should have just let it go and drowned her sorrows in another package of Dunkaroos like the rest of us. @Vaporman87 So what prompted the name change of your group and where was the best place to hide inside without getting caught? The Principal's OfficeSep 19, 2015View
2701ArticleHoju KoolanderHulk Hogan was like Mickey Mouse, an icon. It is really surprising that WWF never put out a cereal. I can see Superstars cereal in my mind right now with Championship Belt and Iron Sheik boot shaped marshmallows. The funniest part about that workout set is that Hogan doesn't even appear in the commercial, Paul Orndorff does, how humiliating. Hulkamaniacs Sep 22, 2015View
2739ArticleHoju KoolanderI loved the breakdown here. We so often tske these participants in Halloween for granted. What would we do without them? I am happy to count myself as the neighborhood True Believer, creating a new theme each year for the kids to enjoy. I haven't taken to chasing them with Chainsaws yet though. The Unsung Heroes of HalloweenOct 02, 2015View
2740ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 It really does come down to one central costume item sometimes, doesn't it. @echidna64 Sounds classic. @onipar The hobo is a nearly forgotten costume choice, so kudos for keeping it alive.Making My Own Halloween CostumeOct 02, 2015View
2766ArticleHoju KoolanderI feel your pain with having to explain yoyr costume to people. I have had many years of costumes only I understood. The Shadow, Buckethead, these are not well known entities in the popular culture. I wonder if kids now tip each other off on Twitter, etc. "OMG,The McCarthy's have full size Hershey bars!"We Got the Good StuffOct 03, 2015View
2787ArticleHoju Koolander@NLogan T-800 and Bone Age almost made an appearance in the list, but it sounds like you have an article yourself to write ;) Great to hear from you again, man!5 Coolest Retro Skeleton Action FiguresOct 07, 2015View
2878ArticleHoju KoolanderI really enjoyed this story. Such a funny and unexpected twist, but the best part is that you introduced your brother to something he now loves. I love that the Mark of the Thorn is what doomed you to sharing your room for 8 months. The Michael Myers ConnectionOct 12, 2015View
2879ArticleHoju KoolanderI have been wanting to write an article myself on this show for years, thanks for taking care of that for me. This show used to play at 630am in my area and I remember getting up early to catch it. The low budget charm is what made it work, it's exactly what Power Rangers would have been if they didn't use Japanese stock footage.Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly HillsOct 12, 2015View
2942ArticleHoju Koolander@vaporman87 You are totally right on that Aeon Flux idea. Just stretch Dr. Scarab on the rack for a few days and he would fit right in. D'Compose is pretty nasty looking. By the way, your daughter and my wife are in agreement on Mumm-Ra. @NLogan That no-face zombie looks like The Blank from Dick Tracy lost his/her trench coat and had to make due with an old Halloween costume.Scariest 80's Cartoon VillainsOct 15, 2015View
