Article | FlixtheCatJr | @OldSchool80s: In the comics, Wolverine is only 5'3", I think Bob Hoskins is a great choice, personally. | Jul 22, 2017 | ![]() |
Article | NLogan | Bob wouldn't be my first choice.But at 5'4" he was close to the right height and was hirsute. <img src="/images/postImages/15007532128229-21901.jpg" width="231" height="173"> | My Dream Cast for a 1987 X-Men movie | Jul 22, 2017 | ![]()
Article | Hoju Koolander | This was a great What If... experiment. I have to echo everybody else in disagreeing with Claremont's vision for Wolverine. I remember in an old Wizard magazine they cast a Cape Fear era Robert DeNiro as Logan, which seemed like a good choice. Loved the Rutger Hauer pull too, makes so much sense. Oh and Dolph Lundgren for Colossus, right? DUH! | My Dream Cast for a 1987 X-Men movie | Jul 22, 2017 | ![]()
Article | Vaporman87 | While Hoskins may be perfect in some ways, he just lacks an intimidating frame. Like I said, he would have had to go ape on the weights for a very long time just to come close to Wolvie's shape. I would probably have gone with somebody like Tom Cruise. He's short, he can pack on muscle when he needs to, and he's insane. Kinda like Logan. | My Dream Cast for a 1987 X-Men movie | Jul 22, 2017 | ![]()

Article | Superman | What an interesting look back at what might have been. I like your casting of Michelle Pfeiffer as Jean Grey a lot. That's by far my favorite casting choice in this entire article. | My Dream Cast for a 1987 X-Men movie | Jul 26, 2017 | ![]()
Article | Vaporman87 | I have no memories at all of Elementary School assemblies. I don't think we had any, actually. Now later, in high school, we did. But the only ones I have any memories of were anti-drug people coming in to warn us of the dangers of Mary Jane. Looking back on those days now, and on the opiate problem this area now faces, they would probably beg us to smoke marijuana. | Awesome School Assembly Memories | Jul 22, 2017 | ![]()
Article | pikachulover | One school I went to spent a lot of money on school assembles. Most of the time they were just puppets that told you about the dangers of fire, strangers, or riding your bike. We had the duo of Janet and Judy come perform at our school. After the assembly the teacher handed out mimeograph work sheets about them. http://www.janetandjudy.com/ Slim Goodbody was supposed to come to my school, but he couldn't come so his people sent some replacement guy who talked about the environment. He was ok, but I really wanted to see Slim in person. I forget who was supposed to come, but it was cancelled because of the LA riots. | Awesome School Assembly Memories | Jul 27, 2017 | ![]()
Article | twcfan92 | Wow, we never had assemblies like that! All of ours were (if I remember correctly) no-name speakers. None of whom I remember. | Awesome School Assembly Memories | Jul 28, 2017 | ![]()
