4893ArticleBenjanimewhen the yu-gi-oh card game got introduced that also became victim labeling it as satanic worship and for some reason comparing them to tarot cards. it saddens me to still see harmless fantasy games being torn to shreds from these witch hunts coming from controversy. What they see is kids learning to fight each other to the death, but what the kids themselves see is a creative way of interacting with each other through friendship. in a way i do agree that any minors playing call of duty can potentially learn about killing because of the imagery they're seeing as they play, but with playing cards all you're doing is strategizing while looking at plain static images on the cards. there's nothing offensive about it. Mar 27, 2019View
139ArticlepikachuloverWhen Pokemon came out what really surprised me was that my high school embraced the fad. It was mostly followed by Freshman and Sophomores. Article Classic: The Pok'emon FadJan 14, 2013View
4256ArticleOldSchool80sWhen it comes to Christmas music, I definitely tend to prefer the traditional songs. I like when contemporary artists do their own versions of the traditional songs. Once in a while a non-traditional song will catch my ear.ThatDudeintheHoodie's Favorite Nontraditional Christmas SongsDec 26, 2017View
3569ArticleNLoganWhen I won a X-Box 360 and gave it to my boys I opened it and created profiles and downloaded games like the week before so that it was ready to roll Christmas morning. That F-14 looks sweet. I had WWII fighter that was gas powered but flew in a circle on a hand held line. I never did get a Genesis but I loved me some Altered Beast in the arcade and secretly wanted one but the Nintendo dominated in my house.A Very Sega ChristmasDec 12, 2016View
2895ArticleExhumeOurIdolsWhen I was younger, my mom used to take me there to Blockbuster when the store was still open and it was a much more fun experience just getting to see those movies. Sadly online took over, but thankfully, there is still a video store I recently went to that had tons of movies, especially on VHS. Just have to keep digging for the gold. 5256ArticleBenjanimewhen i was still living at a mobile home park at age 10 i had a friend that enjoyed doing risky stuff for fun, going out in the woods was one, since there was an area right beside the park, and even going to an abandoned shed and jumping off the roof to land on a double mattress. i felt like those were the most fun days of my childhood.Summer's EndAug 28, 2020View
4732ArticleDalek227When I was really young I loved Disney's Halloween Treat. They used to show The Worst Witch, The Halloween That Almost Wasn't, The Witch's Castle, Mr Boogedy, Bride of Boogedy, etc. It's been what feels like a thousand years since any of those have been shown though. I sometimes watch The Worst Witch on youtube.Kid Channel Halloween TreatsDec 19, 2018View
1835ArticlepikachuloverWhen I was between about the ages 4-6 I really liked the show Today's Special. My mom gave me this old grey carnival prize mouse. I named Muffy. I took her everywhere with me. The head got all floppy from carrying her around in a headlock. When I was about 6 and a half she fell in my wading pool, and could not be salvaged. I think my pikachu eventually became the replacement Muffy. When I was telling my little cousin how long I had the pikachu I realized I had owned it for half my life. I got it right before my sophomore year of high school. Somebody gave that same cousin a Chucky doll from the Child's Play movies and she would play with it like a baby doll. 4049ArticleDirtyD79When I was a teenager I remember me and my brother got kicked out of a toys r us for riding bikes around the store and playing football in one of the aisles. Needless to say we got kicked out. Ironically several years later my brother would end up working at the toys r us we got kicked out of. As for KB what I liked about them was they were a decent place to get models and stuff like paint and glue for them. Toys R Us was decent too but they were kind of out of the way compared to the KB I normally went to. Toy Store DreamsAug 18, 2017View
