3735ArticleVaporman87Oh man, I want all of these to be "unfailed" right now! Look all this glorious TV cheese! Rick Springfield as a vampire? Who wouldn't love that? An 80's Charlie's Angels rip-off? I'm there dude. But uh... I don't think I could do the Poochinski thing. That's just a bridge too far. Feb 12, 2017View

3767ArticleVaporman87Hey don't be dissin' Crunch 'N Munch now! It was the snack I... had to go with because nothing else was present in the pantry at the time. And it tasted fair! And who wouldn't want to be SweetTarts Man, really? He has the power to create teeth-rotting snacks on demand. As far as Combo-Man: Would those gauntlets be part of Deadpool? I don't know, probably not. And maybe Mr. Fantastic thighs? Hard to tell.Marvel Comics Food Ads of the 90'sFeb 21, 2017View
3773ArticlepikachuloverMy family consumes massive amounts of Crunch n Munch. I remember getting some of those trading cards. I found them a few years ago. Marvel Comics Food Ads of the 90'sFeb 23, 2017View
3777ArticlemickyarberCharleston candy had ads in comic books for years. I have some books from the 60's that have ads in them for Charleston. And I have books from the 70's, 80's, and 90's that also have them in them. They must have gotten great returns on the investment or they wouldn't have promoted in comic books for over 30 years. Fun article. You know I love food stuff AND comic book ads, so this tickled my sweet spot.Marvel Comics Food Ads of the 90'sFeb 24, 2017View
3785ArticleNLoganI would have loved reading some Sgt. Rock and Unknown Soldier with you under the carport as a kid growing up my friend. I found some of my old books in a milk crate in my uncle's garage and begged him for them. The Beginning of My Comic Fandom Mar 21, 2017View
3789ArticleHoju KoolanderI always love to hear people's comic book fandom origin stories. I too was caught up in the hype of Superman's death and aftermath, with a deep love of Wizard from cover to cover for many years. I recently picked up the Emerald Dawn run at a used book store and enjoyed it quite a bit, though Kyle Rayner will always be my GL for better or for worse (probably the latter). The Beginning of My Comic Fandom Mar 22, 2017View
