1463ArticleNLoganReading this article made me think of a quote from Abbott and Costello, "She is either a very ugly woman or a very pretty monster". I think it is fun to role play scary monsters during Halloween. I never did understand the slutty costumes. Where I love it was usually too cold for such nonsense but that didn't stop them. I guess there was a time and place for those like college dances and parties. I don't know that that is the kind of attention most women really want. Thankfully most come to their senses after a few years or when they get married. Having kids stops that nonsense cold. I think as long as you are having fun it shouldn't matter what thr costume is and there should be no expectations on how a woman should dress. My wife this year is going as the children's book character Olivia the pig with a red dress, stripped tights, and foam esrs on a headband. She is going to read the story to her kindergarten class and carry around a stuffed animal of Olivia.  Oct 20, 2014View
1465ArticleNLogan@Vapor that is awesome. I love Scooby doo I have all the seasons. The creeper and the no face phantom were my favorites. Pikachu has the right idea, wear something you are comfortable with or something original or creative like her drawings. If you're not having fun there is no point in dressing up. 1466ArticleNLogan@Vapor your buddy the creeper can say,"I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those pesky rules." If they don't let him into a party or something because of the mask. Seems like masks aren't allowed nearly anywhere now a days. Can't where them to school, dances, etc.Frilly and ScaryOct 20, 2014View

1520ArticleNLoganMy favorite growing up was Wolverine also but pre-1990. Back when you only had to collect ONE book to see him, Uncanny X-men. Maybe, he had a cameo in a couple of other books during the whole year. If you picked up around 80 or so non X-men appearances in other books (including his mini-series, Secret Wars, Marvel Universe, Wolverine and Kitty Pryde, and a bunch of guest shots, or comedy books that weren't even canon)you had a complete Logan collection from his first appearance in 1974 to 1988 when he got his first on-going solo series. Now-a-days it seems like he is in 80 different books each month. When I was a kid tops I had holds for titles in my pull list at the local comic shop for Uncanny X-men, Classic X-Men, Wolverine Mini, Wolverine, Incredible Hulk, and Amazing Spider-Man and I would pick up whatever extra that caught my eye while picking up said books in the store. I quit collecting during the no nose bone claws feral Wolverine era in the early 90s. If I were to do a favorites list of comic characters I think I would throw some villains in there as well as I like some of them better than the heroes. My Top 5 Favorite Comic Book CharactersNov 19, 2014View
1528ArticleNLoganGleaming the Cube was awesome. Tony Hawk is the guy with the Pizza Hut truck. <img style="width: 373px; height: 281px;" src="http://uncletnuc.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/3e171-huttruck1.png"> I always wanted a Powell Peralta Skull and Snake McGill board, or the Tony Hawk Skull board but never got one. I had a relatively obscure Bob Reeves Airbourne deck with a dragon on skulls with Independant trucks and either OJ or Slimeball wheels. At one point I had Gull wing trucks. Before that I had a Nash board from either K-Mart or Shopko I can't remember. I drew all kinds of skate designs on my school folders and had stickers in my locker. I sprained my ankle getting a signature from Tony Hawk at a vert demo. I always wore either my checkered vans or my black ones. I never did get into the MC Hammer skater pants though. My little brother turned out to be a way better skater than I ever was. I bought him a Zero board with three skulls on it and matching helmet and knee pads.Skate or DieNov 25, 2014View
