3714ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 Secret's out, it's the Ladies Pants section of Goodwill. I assume that's where David Lee Roth and the guys from Poison did their shopping as well. Jan 30, 2017View

3734ArticlevkimoMan, somehow I missed this article the first time. Awesome synopsis of a truly epic weekend. I drove home that night smiling the whole time, you guys were such a great crew, it really surpassed all expectations. Again, another much needed thank you to Vapor for making it happen!RetroDaze Invades RetroCon 2016Feb 12, 2017View
3700ArticleVaporman87What a rockin' party! You really hit all the right spots for having a great party. Fun outside, NES inside, and lots of sweets and presents. Awesome time. And then they had to go and give you the acid wash jacket. Bummer dude! I had one myself that I prized for a while. I even wore it to one of my own birthday parties held at our local skating rink. Fun to wear FOR a party... not to GET as a gift for one. LOLHoju's 7th Birthday Party: 1989Jan 29, 2017View
3706ArticleNLoganI wore TC surf designs shirts and played the NES game. I ruled the skateboarding part but totally sucked on the surfing, hitting the pier time after time and getting dive-bombed by the seagulls. My favorites were the NES huddle, the jean jacket I also had a few in my day, and that awesome smilodon sabertoothed tiger party decoration.Hoju's 7th Birthday Party: 1989Jan 29, 2017View
3708ArticlejkatzWow, I totally love this rundown of an old home movie! It'd be interesting to see what relics we have hiding in our own recordings.Hoju's 7th Birthday Party: 1989Jan 30, 2017View
3713ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 Glad to know you too experienced the glory of the acid washed jean jacket. I'm sure you rocked it more proudly than I did. @NLogan Yes, the surf element of the game was pretty tough as a kid, but nowadays my son loves to watch me wipe out. @jkatz Bust 'em out, man. It's crazy what we took for granted back then as just being a part of life, which now seems so kitschy and retro.Hoju's 7th Birthday Party: 1989Jan 30, 2017View
3727ArticlemassrealityWhat a great post. I love it! Man that picture of everyone huddled around the NES brought back memories of pretty much every birthday party I attended in the late 80's. Hoju's 7th Birthday Party: 1989Feb 10, 2017View
3701ArticleVaporman87I thought Alex Kidd was decent, but these other titles I don't remember, and never played. There was a 3D Earthworm Jim? That's news to me. So weird to see Jim in 3D. I wish they'd bring him back for some fun using today's tech. The Worst Games I've Rented on my AllowanceJan 29, 2017View
3703ArticleBenjanimethere was actually a cancelled earthworm jim game for the psp, it looked like it was a reboot of the original with some interesting features, but it was in development hell from what i'd heard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VsSBEXTinMThe Worst Games I've Rented on my AllowanceJan 29, 2017View
