3005ArticlemickyarberI vaguely recall having that Masters of the Universe game. I'm gonna have to do a little research and see if I can put all the pieces to the memory back together. I recently put up a couple of articles on Dark Tower and Quija board on my site. Give them a look if ya like! 3015ArticlemickyarberI absolutely agree about having to listen for what the kids want. Fortunately (or unfortunately), my kids tell me exactly what they want for Christmas. The OTHER Good Thing About OctoberOct 24, 2015View
3165ArticlemickyarberI'm not an overly big fan of horror movies, so I've not watched nearly as many as others probably have, but I did see Silent Night, Deadly Night one time. I was traveling with my Dad and we watched it in a motel. Scared the crap out of me when I was about 9.Top 5 Favorite Christmas Horror MoviesDec 10, 2015View
3166ArticlemickyarberI used to love those Christmas parties at school with the gift exchanges. I can remember a couple of things I got from them. Probably the coolest thing I got was a Fall Guy playset. It was a truck that you pulled back and let go and it would run on it's own. It came with a Lee Majors figure in a pose with his arms up in the air, and it also came with, I think, a traffic light. You would put Lee Majors standing in the back of the truck, and run it towards the traffic light. When it went under it, the figures hands would grab the pole and hang on while the truck kept going. It was a really well designed toy that really fit the theme of the Fall Guy show, where Lee played a Hollywood stunt man. Fun article.A Mature Gift ExchangeDec 10, 2015View

3168ArticlemickyarberOn the flip side, I always looked forward to (and still do) the family Christmas parties. With so many cousins, we just drew names and none of the gifts were expensive. You may end up wanting what someone else got, but only because it looked cool and not because it was more expensive that who you had gotten. Fun article. What a Stuffy Party! Dec 10, 2015View
3196Articlemickyarber@NLogan....I didn't include the picture because I couldn't find it, but I have a picture of me opening it while crying. In the picture, it doesn't look like they are tears of joy though. Almost like sadness or something. It's really weir thinking back on, because I just can't place what was going through my mind at that time. @Vaporman...when time travel get's invented, I'll pick you up and we'll head back for a week around Christmas and you can see how much fun we had then! How I Remember ChristmasDec 12, 2015View
3197ArticlemickyarberI think this may be my favorite story I've read here on Retro-Daze. I read it while Away in a Manger was just playing in the background, it it came darn close to bringing a tear to my eye. That or it's from all the saw dust in my shop today. Just an excellent read. I think I'll be reading it to my daughters along with The Night Before Christmas this year. Thanks for sharing.Christmas YuleogyDec 12, 2015View
