3917 | Article | mickyarber | I have recollection of any of these. Regardless, this was a good read. | Jun 07, 2017

2863 | Article | Vaporman87 | I have only seen bits and pieces of this special, but made sure to include it in the '13 and '14 RetroDaze Halloween Special because as you mention, it really is quite well done considering the time it was produced. The CGI is very well done for something as simple as a Halloween special (remember that '91 saw the release of T2, and that was really most folks' first glimpse of full on movie CGI). Great review sir. | My Review of The Last Halloween | Oct 12, 2015
1525 | Article | Vaporman87 | I have only participated (at least that I can recall) in church Christmas plays. Even so, the problems are the same. It often seems like everybody involved in preparing/orchestrating the plays are trying to do too much, and with too little help. This pretty much dooms the play. There are often technical issues, parts left unfilled, and all kinds of mistakes. BUT, nobody is expecting Shakespeare, so the problems are overlooked. I have a problem with plays nowadays. They seem too much like a way to entertain adults by parading our kids out there, scared and nervous. Many of them are obviously (and visibly) not enjoying it. So what's the point? I would just assume we have a straight cantata with singing and carols, and leave it at that. Unless the play is being acted by adults who are actually ENJOYING putting on the production. | The Worst Christmas School Production in the World | Nov 24, 2014
1427 | Article | pikachulover | I have not been to many tourist-y places. I've never been to Pinks either. About the Chupacabra the kids claimed they saw goat carcasses by the McDonalds and by the train tracks by out junior high. | Scary Stories from the Schoolyard | Oct 14, 2014
3993 | Article | Vaporman87 | I have no memories at all of Elementary School assemblies. I don't think we had any, actually. Now later, in high school, we did. But the only ones I have any memories of were anti-drug people coming in to warn us of the dangers of Mary Jane. Looking back on those days now, and on the opiate problem this area now faces, they would probably beg us to smoke marijuana. | Awesome School Assembly Memories | Jul 22, 2017
4802 | Article | NLogan | I have never seen any of these. Way back in the day I played Oregon Trail or Zork. When I had my own computer in the 2000s my wife introduced me to minesweeper and solitaire. Eventually I got Counter-Strike Half Life from valve. | '90s PC Games | Jan 14, 2019
355 | Article | AceNThaHole | I have never played a single mmor......whatever. But this was fun to read and I had no idea these types of games came along so quicly after the web started gaining popularity. Its sweet that people still play it after all these years. | Meridian 59 Remembered | Feb 18, 2013
946 | Article | Vaporman87 | I have never heard of this movie... and yet it has Gregory Hines, Chevy Chase (in his prime), and Sigourney Weaver? How have I not heard of this? Despite that, I may have to try and find this one on Netflix or some other service and give it a go. | Deal of the Century | Jan 12, 2014
1042 | Article | Vaporman87 | I have NEVER heard of this game, but it's making me hungry. I am with you Miss M, my memory sucks and my wife will happily attest to that. I forget where I'm driving to five minutes into the trip. Even so, I've found that I have sufficient concentration to be able to play games such as this fairly well. But to have it all suddenly turned on end and make me switch slices with another player... that would get crazy. | It's Not Delivery, It's Pizza Party! | Mar 25, 2014 |
