1971 | Article | Vaporman87 | Mmmm... your description of OK makes me thirsty for some myself (if I was still allowing myself to drink soda, that is). This is a story I have lived through many times over. Some days I feel cursed that any food or drink product I enjoy will quickly disappear as soon as I proclaim it "good". The list is quite long... Oreo Cereal, Sugar Free Oreos, Snackwells mini chocolate chip cookies, Swordfish (though it's made a comeback everywhere now - FINALLY), etc. So you're certainly not alone in your affinity for things to consume that disappeared. Who knows... maybe one day everything WILL be "OK" again. :) P.S. Congrats on being the first to utilize the new "Color" background option. It looks great in white. | Things Are Going To Be OK | Feb 12, 2015

4074 | Article | Vaporman87 | Mookey sounds like he would actually make a good Pokemon character. I can imagine him and Pikachu hanging out. LOL. | Baby Mookey | Aug 26, 2017

1028 | Article | Fulton4V | Morning funnies and chilitos were two of my favorites from this list. I wish Taco Bell had something like that today with all the same ingredents. I can still smell it now. The Mcdonalds in the town over from me serves chicken wings now and that is right beside a Kfc. | Yesterdays 1: Foods Long Gone | Mar 03, 2014
1333 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Morning Funnies cereal was also for me one of the sugar cereals I was able to convince my parents to put in the shopping cart just once. To me the flavor was like amped-up Fruit Loops. I 100% agree on the old "McStyrofoam" containers. The designs were so iconic that they even made those transformer-like Happy Meal toys based on that classic look. | Yesterdays 1: Foods Long Gone | Sep 25, 2014
1697 | Article | Vaporman87 | Most generally my stocking was full of things that were not good for my health. There wasn't much in the way of toys in my stockings. Now that I'm a father/husband, my wife knows that no matter what she puts in there, there is one thing that is an absolute must every year... the Storybook candy box. Whether it be LifeSavers, Starburst, or some other brand, a Storybook box BETTER be in there, or watch out. | Stocking Stuffers | Dec 19, 2014
1874 | Article | Vaporman87 | Most of my life was spent BEING the older kid. In my neighborhood, I was the oldest of the kids that spent evenings together playing. Sure, there were older kids than me living there, but they didn't often associate with us. I'm guessing I was probably the same type of kid you describe here as well. I had a lot of cool stuff (I'm not blind to the fact that I had a lot of stuff as a kid) and we had a tree house, large yard, tons of concrete with a basketball hoop, and all the inside goodies too. Truth be told though, I preferred being the "visitor" as opposed to being the "visited". Unlike most kids, I didn't enjoy being the kid that other kids were jealous of. I liked visiting the houses of others and being in their element. I felt welcomed and appreciated there, whereas at home, I might tend to feel used. | The Older Kid | Feb 02, 2015 |
