3407 | Article | Radical | Oh wow, it got published. Thank you for the positive feedback! I kinda wrote it the morning of the article deadline, so I wasn't able to proofread it. It was hard coming up with a story to tell that I hadn't already told! Blast to the Past was really that amazing; so much so that I had to invite you all along! I should have touched everything when I had the chance! | Feb 29, 2016
3416 | Article | mickyarber | Welcome! Good effort on your first article. I too once had a place like that I could visit. It was called Buck Fever for some d*mn reason. It was in the early 90's, and that store was capitalizing on the hot markets for sports cards and comic books. I remember my older brother and his best friend taking me there the day Superman #75 came out and I was instantly hooked. We would go every other week when they got paid and drop some cash. At the time, we lived about a half hour away from that store. Now, I live just 5 minutes from there and pass it on the way to the kids school and back...and a lot of times driving by, I shudder when I look over and see an insurance office where the great Buck Fever used to be. | Blast to the Past! | Mar 05, 2016

3388 | Article | Vaporman87 | I always enjoy the articles in which you explore some set of memories. They are your best works. This one is no exception. It definitely puts me in mind of a perfect weekend. Great stuff, TDitH. | Memories of a Perfect Weekend | Feb 28, 2016
3396 | Article | massreality | I find it interesting how much better weekends seemed when we were kids. Things were simple and expectations were so low. I really miss that. Great article! | Memories of a Perfect Weekend | Feb 28, 2016
3400 | Article | ThatDudeintheHoodie | Thanks :) I enjoy doing these types of articles, though it takes a lot more inspiration to do. After my annual Nickelodeon article I'll probably do a Pokemon article next. Since that has it's own set of memories I'd like to share. | Memories of a Perfect Weekend | Feb 28, 2016
3401 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | I used to love going to my local mall on the weekends. I wish I could go back to the 90's and revisit it. | Memories of a Perfect Weekend | Feb 28, 2016
3390 | Article | Vaporman87 | That's quite a varied list of favorite library books, V. I didn't read anything but magazines and comics growing up. I hated reading. LOL. Though, when it came to our school library, they did have a few things that caught my interest. They have been mentioned in forum thread... a series of books on monsters and other cool subjects. The name of them escapes me at the moment. | The Library | Feb 28, 2016
3397 | Article | massreality | Man, I totally forgot about cross sections! I loved browsing through them. I was also a big fan of the Choose Your Own Adventure. I'd usually get irritated and quit when things didn't got the way I wanted them to. | The Library | Feb 28, 2016
3386 | Article | massreality | That was a great break down of your relationship with the series. I was in high school by 1998, so I missed out on the Pokemon bandwagon. I remember watching all the kids on the bus playing and trading cards, and I felt like I was missing out on something big. Back when Black/White came out on the DS, I bought a copy of Black just to see what all the fuss was about. I can't say that I fell totally in love with it, but I did enjoy the time I spent with the game. My girlfriend has taken over my 3DS XL once I introduced her to Animal Crossing, so I ordered myself a new one that should be here on Monday. I plan on buying Yellow from the Virtual Console, so I can truly dig in on the old school Pokemon. | 20 years of Pok'emon: Looking back to the franchise as an adult | Feb 27, 2016 |
