ArticleSupermanI enjoyed this article. It reminds me of my own first camera. It was an ordinary kids camera not connected to any particular brand like yours was, but I enjoyed pretending I was Peter Parker (Spider-Man) as I took pictures of my family and my pet cat. Jan 01, 2017View
ArticleSupermanNice article. I remember the Christmas that I received my first video game console fondly. It was a Super Nintendo, and the fun I had playing it set me on the path to being the Nintendo fan that I am today.A Very Sega ChristmasJan 01, 2017View
ArticleSupermanWow! I could really feel your poor brother's disappointment. I've never been gifted something someone mistakenly thought I wanted, but I'm sure the disappointment would be twice as bad than just plain not getting what you asked for. Incidentally, as both a Star Wars fan and a Nintendo lover, I can relate to both of your Christmas gift wishes.Christmas ConundrumJan 01, 2017View
ArticlefuschniktMy second concert ever was Weird Al at the fair! I have since seen him 5 more times and been to a signing where I got him to autograph a can of SPAM. Also, later this year I will be taking my daughter to see Green Day. i know they aren't in there prime, but last time I saw them, they busted out a full 90's set in the middle of the show. Hopefully they do it again this time. 90's Concert Experiences Part 1Jan 02, 2017View
ArticleRick Ace RhodesCool article Hoju. The worst road trip story I have wasn't even from an actual road trip: my father and I went on a trip to my orthodontist who was about an hour away. The ensuing trip and back actually took seven hours, as every possible thing from closed roads, getting lost and nearly getting into a car accident occurred.Family Road TripsJan 02, 2017View
ArticleRick Ace RhodesNice article MassReality! I've often wondered what it must of been like for a video store clerk back in the day. I'm sure like all clerk jobs it offered customers that were annoying, odd or actually interesting. It's a shame that technology has made things like this obsolete. It may have made our lives more convenient, but it removed some of the fun that once was involved in the inconvenience. My father loves to tell this story of how on Saturday's him and his friends would go out to the mall, drink and eat, and then spend the day in the record store digging through shelves and looking to see what cool records were in stock. Now and days that's all removed, you can just go to iTunes and find what you want. I've often wondered: why are new video releases released on Tuesdays? Even today new movies on DVD and Blu-Ray are often released on Tuesdays. Is it because Sunday's usually aren't business days and so Monday's have to be used to instead ship and receive them in stores to be put out on shelves? The Video Store ClerkJan 02, 2017View
ArticlejkatzGreat article! I love reading about obscure animes and films...they usually end up in the most interesting places.Urikupen Kyujotai: The cartoon that introduced me to animationJan 02, 2017View
ArticlevkimoGreat timing, I'm currently enroute from San Francisco to Philadelphia. Except I'm driving solo. What gas station in Utah did you loose Nuggit? Maybe I'll find him behind the churro maker. Also, good luck finding a Rambler on Find-A-Car Bingo!Family Road TripsJan 03, 2017View

ArticleVaporman87Glad to see this one back on the site. It was a great look into the life behind the counter. It was sad to see the last of our local rental stores close up just recently. I don't know of any anywhere local now.The Video Store ClerkJan 03, 2017View
